    Default Weight issues??

So after a few months of building up the courage to go and audition...which I did really well..management told me he would like to hire me but when I'm a little bit slimmer. I only have like 5-10 pounds to lose, which I'm working on but I'm just feeling a little discouraged about auditioning at another club. Any advice?

If time isn't an issue, I'd say take a month or two to really tone up and work out. Even if it's a few pounds or just a bit more muscle, it'll help with every club you decide to audition at. This way you won't get the same response from other managers that may also feel you should lose a few. Better to work it off and get hired than not do anything and get the same answer again.

Don't stress over it too much! They are probably just picky about weight. You are obviously attractive enough for him to hire you, so no worries. Good luck!

I've encountered this issue more than any. The first time I was stunned because I wasn't big by any stretch. I was 125 pounds and somewhat muscular. Didn't stop the manager from calling me fat and a pig. Another club had a rule that they never hired anyone over a size 4 (I am a 6 at my thinnest). Sometimes it has nothing to do with your weight and something else entirely. I once auditioned at a club and slimmed down to 110pounds (I am 5'6-5'7). I was still rejected for weight and found out they just didn't want to hire anyone from the club I worked at. Some managers love to be nasty.

My advice? Don't give up. I never did, I just found a lower level club. I made more money at these clubs than I did at the high end ones. I don't have the bodytype that some of the higher end clubs so why stress myself?

Keep in mind that when a manager says this he/she is not only wanting you slimmer but also tighter as in butt, legs; this will involve more than losing weight as you can lose weight but still look the same size. Fat cells can only shrink not disappear (unless you get lipo) the real issue is losing fat and building muscle tone so you look smaller. The above will easily take you between 2-3 months. If you do this properly you will find confidence from your new found body and you WILL get hired.
