    Default Motels with weekly rates

I'm going to be traveling next month and I wanted to book a motel room for a week. I know from reading on here that there are many chains which offer weekly rates around $250 and have a fridge in the room. Does anyone know of any? I'm having trouble finding any reliable information on google.

I'm traveling to Burlington VT in case anyone was wondering or had any info on the area.

Burlington VT is a very very small area, not sure you are going to have much luck. I lived there for two summer internships while I was in College. The whole state only has about 500,000 people, Burlington is the biggest city but that is not saying much. Also it is a college town. UVM and a few small private colleges are located here. When I worked here it was summer so we actually lived in the dorms of one of the campuses.

Sorry I am not much help, but good luck to you. Make sure you take a side trip to Stowe to see the Ben and Jerry's factory (also an amazingly beautiful town)

I don't know how you feel about couchsurfing, but I have always had a lot of luck with it. Here is a link to the Burlington couchsurfing group:

This site has a couple of hotels for around $50 a night. That would put you at about $100 over budget so that's not too bad.

There is a Marriott Residence Inn up there that I stayed in via Priceline for $35 a night last year. Priceline rates are all over the map however depending on the time of year etc. There is no way to guarantee which property you will get if you go the "name your own price" route but if you are flexible this is by far the best deal you are going to find.

PM me - I have extra timeshare weeks, if you'll cover the transfer costs (about $300-400) you can get a full condo with full kitchen for a week...sat-sat .

That's a tough time to be looking for bargains in VT. Right in the middle of ski season. Good luck though.

Thanks for all the help guys! I was able to find a decent place on priceline that's a little over $50 a night and has some nifty amenities including laundry facilities, hot tub, kitchen, etc. The peak ski season rates only apply during the week of Christmas-New Years at most places and I preordered lift tickets at a discounted rate and also got an extra discount for being a college student. (I'm crafty )

hangover-thanks for all the info, but I'm way ahead of you-my little brother actually just got accepted to the University of Vermont! I decided I wanted to take a trip up there after going on a road trip with him last summer to do his college visits.
