I'm so silly - one of the most important, yet obvious (but easily overlooked) pieces of advice that I've learned is that one needs to CHANGE something in order to obtain different results; afterall, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results.
I guess I may be too hard on myself, though, as I've tried to find different ways of getting myself to go into work - asking for advice on this board, telling customers that I'd be in (the money wasn't enough pull and it wasn't a regular), getting new outfits that I thought would motivate me, etc. Well, I've finally decided to actually give the club a schedule. My 2nd job is steady enough, at this point, as well as flexible enough, that I don't have to worry about going in. Therefore, there's no excuse, besides my horrible period, to call out. Awhile ago, I did give mngmt a letter from my gyno that explained how debilitating that my period symptoms can be, so I'm sure that they'd understand a call-out.
So...even though I don't really, typically, make New Years' resolutions, I will this year: I will put myself on the schedule for work at least 2x/week. I used to think that it was so great that I didn't have to adhere to a schedule, but the cons are really outweighing the pros.

I also have a hard time talking myself into going in (like tonight for example).
