Sounds like her friend spent more $$$ and she wanted to hurry up, dance for you so she would be available when he arrived/ or if he was already there. She's multi tasking and maximizing her profit, smart girl

One way or another, she just wanted you to spend your money and leave. There may not have even been a friend coming in.

The day would have to be really sloooooooooooooow for me to sit with someone an hour for 6 lapdances, much less make it a regular thing.

Maybe the lady is learning some hustlin skills, good for her.

Agreed. The "friend" was possibly another regular like you. It's difficult when 2 regulars come in at the same time.

    Yup.

Why do people ask such basic, obvious questions?

I'm waiting for this one to turn into a five page fight and debate, possibly on the term "friend".

Yes. She absolutely did not want to sit with u for the hour, she wanted you to just do the dances.

I wouldn't sit with you for an hour for six lapdances. I sell 30-1hour rooms in under 20mins.
Maybe she is no longer desperate for those dances, and or realized that 1 hour is too long unless you are tipping her 200%

Who cares what her motivation was. Do you want dances from her or not? Obviously you are somewhat of a regular, so don't waste her time. If you wanna chat, then pay for the time to chat with her. She is obviously busy. She is running a business.

Would you rather she just sat with her "friend" and left you wondering where she as until you got frustrated and left? She at least gave you the choice of getting dances if you wanted them, albeit hurried. Sounds like she was just doing her best to juggle and manage the situation.

You may just chaulk it up to it being a bad night; oh well, better luck next time. Ultimately, if you are not satisfied, you certainly have the choice to spend your entertainment dollars elsewhere, either on another dancer or at another venue. ... Just keep in mind that it is a business transaction and try not to take it personal.

It seems that the dancers that have answered here have the right interpretation of the facts. Having multiple regulars in the club at the same time is really just a bad luck, no win situation for the customer if he doesn't have the time to wait out the competition. At least your girl tried to be somewhat accommodating.

If it happens again, you might try to ask what would be the best time for you to arrive for getting some quality time with her. Perhaps this other regular comes fairly often at a set time on the same day of the week.

Better yet, the OP should aspire to become the whale so that his competition is waiting for him to finish instead of the other way around.

While it certainly would be preferable to be the whale, that is much more easily said than done. To be able to spend 1K per visit is just a fantasy for me and probably most of us. If you're one that does, more power to ya!

If you had 4 regs that came in every week and did this guaranteeing you 500.00, that wouldnt be good?? If you work 4-- 6hour shifts a week I would think 2k would be nice. I dunno maybe 104k a year is bad for a dancer.

I never have aspired to be the whale. Too much pressure. I always spend consistently but I'll never be the guy who "makes" a dancers shift as far as her money goes. That's fine with me...

I like being the guy who is not a dickhead, not a psycho, not a time waster, not in a hurry and not trying to get a hand job instead of a lap dance. Trust me, it pays off HUGE

Huh? 6 lapdances is $120. That's an extra $480 a week if each regular came in once a week. Let's say I worked 50 weeks a year as a stripper, that's only $24,000 a year income.

Or do you mean, if I had regulars that came in like that every single day? Ok, let's do that math: 4 regulars a day, guaranteed 6 dances, over 1.5 hours of time....that's $480 each shift over 6 hours. Work 5 shifts a week, over 50 weeks, that's $120K gross before club fees and taxes.

Here's the thing about stripping and regulars..there is absolutely NO FUCKING WAY no guarantee that level of consistency in regulars and dances. Its all about discretionary spending on the part of the regular, and what they can get for their money. Eventually, the returns will diminish. Plenty of customers do not require that much "talk time" for dances...and a dancer must always seek out fresh blood because regulars tend to spend less and less over time.

Sure, $100K + annually is great income, don't talk to me like I'm an idiot. But there is no way that a stripper can structure such a financial goal by giving each and every customer that much free time, unless he is giving her that $120 up front. No dancer can force that type of consistent spending across her regulars. Why am I even bothering with you, as you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.

Walk a mile in my shoes, then you'll see how preposterous you sound.

I was formerly known as one but not right now. I have been humbled by the economy. It was fun though back in the day.

    Math is fun...

A dancer makes $20 for a four minute song so she is making $300 an hour. So if she works a seven hour shift she is making $2100 a day. Heck, if she works three shifts a week she is making $6300 a week! Fifty weeks a year? a very tidy $315 grand a year!

    OK, back to reality...

I'm sure any dancer would tell you that a hundred grand a year would be very good money. What they will also tell you is that you don't make that kind of money by sitting at the bar wistfully waiting for those four guys who each bought six dances last week to show up this week...or next week. You make it by working your ass off every shift.

Exactly. Let's say I am working a 6 hours, using the strategy you outlined with my 4 regulars.

Regular #1 comes in and we talk for an hour, gratis. He then gets six dances and I get $120. Sweet, plan is in place.

Regular #2 comes in and we talk for an hour, gratis. He then gets 2 dances. I'm already behind me goal by $80.

Regular #3 doesn't show up at all, his kid has little leaugue practice that day and he didn't tell me. I've now waited an hour for him to show up without trying to hustle others, because this was "guaranteed" money. 4.5 hours, and only $200. Still pretty good money considering I'm a stripper, so obviously the only other job I could do is minimum wage grunt work, since we're all really stupid, right?

Regular #4 shows up. I'm happy to see him and get my expected money. He's having a bad day, decided to talk for over an hour, then gives me a big hug and buys me a drink for listening to him.

So now, I've completed my shift and made $200, out of which I'll have to pay the house, and tip DJ bouncers, let's 1/3 of that. $133 bucks for 6 hours of work in a job where I am considered a whore by society, get absolutely zero perks or benefits from, AND can only do for a short amount of years until I am "over the hill."

Nope, I'd rather not take my chances wasting an hour of time with each guy. Because THIS, I promise you, THIS is what ends up happening. Take it from any girl who's stripped for more than a few months, we need to worry about the value of our time, and we can't give any one custy that much time for free on any consistent basis.

    Its just bad business.

Sorry if i offended you---it was a honest question. I see on here so much about how i wouldnt waste my time here or there. And then i read it was horrible tonight i only made 250.00. I have long went with the sure things in my line of work and it has made consistent money for me. Some of my competitors have wasted there time trying to hit the big ones and i have left them in the dust.

This is the one profession that i have seen so much money made but yet everyone always broke. There is something horribly wrong with that. I made 3k tonight or i made this or that, but yet i guess they are having some really bad nights besides that. Either that or they are horribly immature with the money they make. It seems to me that a single woman making 100k a year should be in good financial shape. If she is not then it is her own damn fault and i have no sympathy for her. If you cant see cultivating a few good regulars is good business then whatever. You give me a guarantee dollar amount per week that i believe is good and i will sit on it. As long as i would be able to save 20% of my income i wouldnt risk pushing them away for something unknown. The dancers i used to see always knew what i was good for and i dont think any of them really worried when they saw me. Of course i am not in their head but they never pushed me and always seemed at ease.

I wonder how many dancers have had nights they wished they made 500 in the six hour shift. I love numbers and would love to see a list of daily totals for about 10 dancers in different regions and how they go about there business. Would pushing certain money off for the big hits make you more money in the long run? Who knows but it would be a cool project dont you think. Also i would like to see what they do with it? Cause i swear to God all of you on here always seem broke.

You are so correct that i will never know unless i walk in your shoes. I am only looking at it from a numbers point of view. Lets say he eventually nails you and only buys 3 dances that night. What was the overall ROI before that. I would ride the wave as long as i could, cause from what i see on here 5-700 a night is damn good.

All this is just from a clueless customer so take it for what it is worth. Just conversation nothing more. Feel free to just shake your head and move on.
