    Default Becoming webcam performer

I have question to ask, I have been thinking for awhile to become a webcam performer on camz, but for me its kind of a different situation since I am guy and will take me awhile to find someone who is interested in the same field as I am and if they even like my look and if my chemistry matches there's as well.

I am wondering if anyone could recommend me a trustworthy site where woman are looking for guys to team up with them and to do cam shows online together.

Thanks everyone in advice for the responses

That is highly unlikely to happen, unless you have a girlfriend to work with.

I saw a guy advertise on craigslist. I even responded, because back in the day, my ex and I did shows together and made great money. But the guy was flakey, as most CL people are and nothing ever came of it . But yeah, you could try CL or backpage and see what happens. Be aware of the flake factor, though.

Thanks so far for the host feedbacks minniesoporno and msclairevoyant...I was thinking about the craigslist idea, but I am not sure if i trust craigslist too much, due to spammers.

I was also thinking about adultfriendfinder but I was reading reviews, that from other customers that had a membership with them that they would charge their credit card more than once by mistake, since the tech support overseas are the ones handling the billing, so thats what is stopping me from that site...but what is your feeling on adultfriendfrinder or other similar sites, thanks

If you're seriously ready to up and move, your best bet would be to head to Los Angeles and contact one of the multiple adult talent agencies out there. What happens if you make an arrangement and it doesn't work out/ she changes her mind... Are you looking for a roommate too?

    hmmmm

i don't know. sounds like it'll be hard to do. most girls who perform as couples usually just stick with their boyfriend or people they know. but who knows, you may find someone and have that connection. as for being willing to move if it works out, i don't know about that. camming is good money, but it's not that great. especially when split between 2 people.

you seem like you're ready to make a big move into the adult industry, why don't you just try to do porn. you'll probably make more money.

or if camming is what you really want to do...and cant find a partner, just do a solo cam as a gay male host. that may be profitable.

Thanks for the comment, I dont know if I am ready for porn yet I think might need to post a picture of myself up on here to get some feedbacks of my looks...also I want to work out at gym before trying out for porn to build a 6 pack before I go into the industry. To be honest I rather do just camming rather than porn to be honest, because I do admit I am sexual person, and would do it more as hobby I guess if that makes since at all. I definitely dont want to do gay camming, I would rather a woman use a strap-on on me instead of guy inside me.

    ^^^
I think she means solo camming but for gay audiences (although you might get occasional couples and a rare female here and there too). I know a handful of guys that do this (solo) right now. One is bi, the other 2 are straight as an arrow. The 2 straight guys would have never dreamed of camming before, but now that their mortgages are freight training them....different tune. One of the guys doesn't go full nude, he specializes in the muscle flexing genre on camwithhim.com (You could check this out). It's really whether you're able to compartmentalize it in your own head. You're going to have guys watching you too if you have a female partner, so to them, it's pretty much the same thing. What you are willing to do on cam is up to you. You could try offering yourself for females and couples initially to test the waters. Some of the other sites do have sections for straight males too.

Then, if you want to start doing interactive camming with a partner, at least you'll have a "resume," if you will. I don't know of any girls that would be open to the idea of camming with a guy who hasn't had cam experience yet (or established some sort of professional reputation in the adult industry ...ie. registering with a talent agency), unless they were already a husband or someone they've been dating for a loooooooong time.

I would not bother, Most females in the cam biz make enough money on their own, a couples account would only take money out of their pocket. If they were seeking out a partner, they would look for one! We do not need guys to make money in this biz! We are the top earners!

YOU should sign up for a solo account on some websites (you will need to work more then one as a solo male) to see firsthand what this is all about!

I have had a couples account with my boyfriend, but we have both found, we both make more money on our own solo cams.

Beware that this is not about you or what you like, it is about the customer and what they want. They could care less if you are sexual, have a six pack or a female banging u with a strapon. They will have their own requests and those requests are probably FARRRR from what you would like to do in your everyday sexlife. My god i sound so negative and jaded, but they are the star of the show, not you. If you make them feel as they are the star, they are sure to become great customers.

Camming is GREAT money if you know what you're doing. I'd never split my money with another man..hahaha.. just a thought.

Right. I think a lot of people want to cam because they think, hey... i like to jack off, why not get paid for it? And the thought of people watching me jack off is something i think i'll be into.

They don't realize that the majority of us aren't really masturbating. we're faking and just trying to pose and move in ways that works well with the lighting and camera angles. It becomes work. Then you do it all over again over 50 times a day. You pretend to cum ( i dont know how guys do, guess they cant), then get dressed again and start all over acting like you're horny and cant wait to cum.

And the situation with your friend? Hmm, You have a crush on her, so you told her, and feelings are mutual. You're wondering if you should tell her in a year, or tell her now about a future potential job. I'd say just don't tell her yet and if you guys become more serious and you actually start working you should tell her. I can't really tell what exactly you're here for though. Getting advice on how to cam for work, or advice on how to find someone to have sex with by using a webcamming job as your non-threatening cover up motive.
