Question ecampay shouldnt be this hard

k i finally got approved for ecampay :YAY: and had my first client want a show- Double YAY but when he went to pay it declined his card.

I have my product groups set up- at least the one he wanted so we could get down to business quickly

my acct status shows all green check marks next to each..

I got the following error message for his cc- "gateway resoponce- do not honor" AAAGH! i am so frustrated at this point...almost tempted to say eff it and keep doin the big sites, at least i know shit works on their sites LOL

thx in advance just need help..god i feel like such a 'tard

agreed. i'm all verified and good to go. had about 3 guys try to pay through ecampay so far and they all declined. emailed them (since they don't pick up the phone), and a few days later they sent some automated...we need to make sure everything is secure, we'll let the bank or whomever know how many declines are going through. their customer service sucks imo

At least I'm not the only having problems. Geez u'd think they'd be more on top of things. I copied and pasted my payment link from URL payment generator and the terms and conditions is completely blank when I click on it. Wonder if that has anything to do with it.
Are alertpay and ccbill easy to set up? I don't have a business license and it looked like I would need 1 for ccbill

OMG, I never could get a verified eCamPay acct. That company blows so hard! I just dropped it. +1 for ccBilling.

Simple. he used american express or discover.. and ecampay does not honor those cards. Trust me it pisses me off too. Ask the guys what types of cards their using. If it's anyone of these cards it'll decline.

not only that alot of credit card companies verify the cards meaning whatever name and address on the card has to match whatever mailing address they enter on the site when trying to pay. if none of that matches, then the card gets declined.

Sorry to bump- Is anyone having problems with ecampay ? I am getting 100% decline rate , the payment submit doesn't even attempt to contact the server and declines instantly - I've spoken to a couple of other girls and they are experiencing the same problem ....... Is anyones ecampay account still working out there?

    Cheers

Hiya , ... thanks for the responses guys - .. T'was I who alerted Malaya to the ecampay problems - I've been emailing girls for a couple of weeks now trying to find others who are having problems accepting payments......

I have tried using a visa card - to pay not only myself but other girls links and no cards are going through - none of my own , my partners or any of my clients :-(

....Is anyone actually still processing ANY payments through them successfully?

I'd be interested to know if anyone is?

I've been using ecampay without any serious problems since they started out and I've really enjoyed their service, so It's sad it's come to this

I'm wondering if they've been hacked, as their privacy policy on some of the payment links is diverting to a porn site - it didn't used to do this !

    It's very frustrating .....

    Good luck all .

    Hi all -

Still no luck... Just to clear up the above ...Ecampay indeed DO take Mastercard AND Visa !

Granted at the moment they are taking neither - because it's broken ! But I've been processing both mastercard and visa payments through them for a couple of years ....until now where I can process nothing .

Duh Re: ecampay shouldnt be this hard

Juliette- Are you experiencing the same problem ?

Yeah the porn link was really quite disturbing , I don't know why they have it linked to their site - I can only assume it's an attack - In a way I hope it is , because this whole pa-lava is such discredit to their company . I had a snoop around the porn site and the scripts don't give anything away to say it might be related to ecampay....... so I'm none the wiser here :-(

Such A shame , they were working so smoothly for so long . What annoys me most about them , they were providing a great service, with great customer support , but I've noticed as soon as the smallest thing goes wrong, they are literally impossible to contact .... I have sent over 100 emails to them begging and pleading . The first half of which they acknowledged by letting me withdraw the funds I had been trying for over a week to withdraw- now the service is still down , and they won't answer anyone ........... I'm betting no one is going to get a response until they have it back up and running ...... not a good way to run a business.

I haven't even used them yet. I had heard so much great stuff about them and had JUST gotten verified right before I learned that everyone was having problems.

Oh dear Juliette - How disappointing for you .... Though this has happened in the past , a couple of years ago something very similar happened, and no payments were going through . It was incredibly similar to this situation in that they started ignoring all their customer service emails and phone calls too .

I have a feeling they will be back with it fixed..... and most likely then send out a casual email to everyone that they're up and running . The fact they won't answer throughout the problems that come up has been the final straw for me .

I will be moving my customers elsewhere - Which is a shame because I have enjoyed ecampay until now.

Now I remember the same frustration I felt last time this happened and they vanished , I just don't want to risk it happening again . Its been dreadful for my business.

Anyone who has any updates on ecampay status ... Or has received any correspondence off them within the past 3 days , please let me know.

    Missy

No response from them so far... Their service is still , the strange privacy policy link on their payment page is still hiding a link to a porn site riddled with popups and viruses. At the moment , it's not looking good .

I have tried several times a day to call them , but with no luck . I even rang the office suites in Nevada , it's the address that comes up for them when you whosi' their domain. They informed me that ecampay no longer run their business from an office there . So the address' we have to contact them on are basically useless . The email address we have to contact support is a yahoo email address , and the phone numbers both route to the same answering machine 24/7 .

So at the moment, I would far from recommend you sign up with them , it wouldn't hurt however , to drop them a mail ( perhaps a couple of questions you might have about the sign up process ) And see if they respond to you . It would be interesting to see if their ignoring policy is selective .

I have to add - This has happened before , when they first started out, they had some problems which lasted a few weeks , and I distinctly remember they never made contact with anyone then either - it's very frustrating just not knowing what's going on ,but the fact it has happened in the past , reassures me the service will be back at some point . It doesn't however reassure me that mine, or my customers details are going to be safe . The strange links made me worry ! Their lack of communication makes me worry !

If I were you , I would at least for now stay well away. I will post in this thread the moment I get in touch with them , with details .
