I'd say you should attempt to carefully verse yourself in basic pole exercises and moves. There's no point in trying advanced pole moves if you can't even lift yourself. Do you exercise your wrists? Can you lift things? It just depends on how severe the injury is/was and how easy / hard it is for you to do basic things. Go slow and practice over and over again, because even if you are just walking around / swinging on the pole, you'll be doing it all night. Just be careful! If you're dancing not much pole work is even needed. Good luck!
yeah i can do basic moves like the fireman move and basic moves like that. SO really guys and girls at clubs don't really care about if you can dance on a pole then?

Most pro's here on SW agree that 'the pole will not tip you'. If you have some cool moves to throw in it'll make your routine more exciting, but if you spend all 3 songs glued to it, you won't get a tip. I'd say if you can already lift and spin around the pole you'll be fine doing a few basic moves that most girls do. Try harder stuff if you get bored, but carefully!![]()
ok thanks

I have bad wrists from years on the pole. I find that doing figure 8's while holding a light weight (1-2 lb) and simple up and down & side-side movement with the weight helps build strength. That is similar to what they would do in rehab. Make sure not to do more than 10 reps x 3 of each exercise. Also, take a day rest to insure there aren't flare-ups. A small dose of IB will reduce any swelling should you have any.
BUT, consult your doctor if problems persist or worsen. You may then need other treatments.
