Just thought I would share.
I get .500ml as 1ml was too much the first time I tried it. I get most of it injected into my top lip and a little in the bottom.
I think I look so much sexier with full lips. LOVE IT LOVE IT!!

Pictures???![]()

I love it too. Don't know why I went without getting it again for so many years but I'll be getting regualr touch ups from now on!

I can't wait to jump on the bandwagon already. I'm gonna get mine done as soon as i'm done with some small debts I have. Since I know that maintnance can be pricey, but worth it.![]()

I love it too but I don't get it. I got 1mil almost all in the top and it hardly made a difference. I mean I like the difference but I think I need 1.5mil?? I'm wondering if maybe it was a case of the technique the doc used. My doc only made 2 injections on the corner of each side of each lip. How did your docs inject it?
I would love to see some before and afters. I've been thinking about Juvaderm for a little while now, but am a little scared I'll end up with duck mouth.

Yes I am thinking that would give a better result. I find with mine a lot of it went inside. As in on the inside of my lip/mouth. Im thinking bad technique. Still looks good though, just not very pronounced. I have big eyes, nose, and teeth so big lips wouldnt look too weird. It is very smooth though. Remember I PMed you to ask about it? Ya totally smooth now so must have just been swelling from the injection sites.

Dont think my pic uploaded properly. I didn't take before pics.
The lips feel hard for a few days while the swelling is there (I wish it stayed like that, swollen not hard) and then they soften up and feel just the same as before the filler. Then it wears off over months. Mine last up to a year.
Ok tried to upload again. Not working, will try another time.

Here are 4 pics.
1. Before no smile
2. A few hours after no smile
3. A week later no smile
4. Before smiling
5. A few hours after smiling
And I'm in Sydney Jaizaine. But next time I will try a doc who uses another technique. Do you guys know if you can get a top up? I only had mine done a month ago. I'd like to add more in a few weeks if I can.

oh ok cool hun. yes i had it done twice within a few weeks coz they were not big enough so u can def get a top up.
You should find someone who injects all around the mouth. u only need the cupid's bow done if u want that look (i like mine already so i didn't have any there) they can also do the lip line just depending on where u want the fullness. I just had the lips done not the lip line. But there should be lots of injecting.
My doctor also massages my lips afterwards to even it out it really hurts coz he presses hard to smooth it all out but he thinks it's important to do that.

ThanksThey are not really big enough for me, but I am happy because I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. You can see I pretty much had no top lip b4 LOL. Now I can see it's fine I would like bigger though.
I will def get a top up then Jaizaine. I think I'll only need .5mil if they inject it in various areas.

Oh I'm also considering some filler under my eyes to get rid of the sunken eye thing, but that scares me. Especially since my eyes have been deep set my whole life I'm scared I'll think I look weird...not like me. Might take me a while to work up the confidence to give it a go.

yeh im not sure about that. what if the result was puffy looking? i've considered it too coz mine tend to look sunken but im wary coz of that potential effect.
the thing is you can't buy juvaderm in any less than 1ml so if u only wanna put .500ml in your lips u will need to put it somewhere else or ask the place if u can share it with a friend.
the first lot i got half in my lips and half in my nasiolabial folds (the smile lines next to the mouth). second time he let my friend and i share .500ml each - dispersed it between two syringes.
the second time i also went without anaesthetic and i was much happier that way. the anaesthetic fails to numb the lips in all areas i have found and most of the bruising i got was from the anaesthetic. it did hurt, sort of stung a little but nothing too bad.

Interesting...the doc I went to you could buy it in .5ml... But If I can't this time I'll just get the rest put elsewhere hahaha. Another place they said is just below the brow. My eyebrows are really straight (you can see in pics). I have adjusted since with some major plucking and brow gel but I wouldn't mind a little more of an arch.
What was the result from the nasiolabial folds? Did you like it?
And ya the lady who did mine just used ice to freeze as the juvederm had lidocaine in it. It didn't hurt much and I had absolutely no bruising. I obviously had less injection points though. But she said its the dental blocks that usually cause the most bruising and there is no need to use them with juvederm ultra.

juvaderm only comes in 1ml syringes so if u were sold .500ml they would have dispersed it between another syringe and if it's been stored then the ingredients might be less effective. it has to be used quickly.
don't get it done by nurses either. i did that once and the result was awful - lop sided lips.
I will only let a surgeon or dermatologist do mine.
the nasiolabial folds look amazing and makes a huge difference. they last ages too - longer than lips.

^good to know. Ya I got 1ml but I guess I'll have to find somewhere else to stick it for my top up. It was only a month ago so 2mls would be scary hehe.
i just about have enough saved to get mine done![]()
