Wow, really? I didn't know people still did this. Back in the day we used to apply a base, regular eye shadow and then layer on the most shiny white powder possible onto the brow bone right under the eyebrow and blend it into the rest of the eyeshadow.

    Hopefully that helps.

I used to always wear irridescent eyeshadow to highlight the browbone. Try Mac because they have the best pigment imo. I like a silvery sheen to it. in the corner of the eye looks good too if applied correctly. Play around until you find what works best for you .=)

I still do.... I didn't realize it was a faux pas. I use MAC Vanilla pigment just under my brow bone. I also use it in the center of my bottom lip sometimes.

I wouldn't say it's faux pas... I just don't really see many dancers doing it these days. That or maybe they don't layer it as thick as they used to.

The way you do it JD is good, plus you use Vanilla so its not like its super white..its more of a ivory w shimmer in it.

I use white to line my bottom lids and in my corners. There is a way to do it properly so it doesnt look bad. It makes the eyes look bigger and draws away from bags. Kevin Aucoin does it.

I used to LOVE white eyeliner on the inner lower rim water line area, where you would usually put black eyeliner. Girls would comment all the time on how big it made my eyes and how awake I would look.

I use white eyeshadow on the inner corners of my eyes. I'll also put a little bit right in the center of each eyelid. If you do it right, you can't really tell that there's white there, but it catches the light and opens up your eyes.

ok so use the white on my bottom lid or tell me exactly how i should wear the white and where and i intend on doing the green eye liner stuff i think by MAC that you use a brush to put it on so it's thick. Ill check tomorrow and reply again for sure what brand it is but in the mean time can you give me an example?

If you want to use it on the bottom half to make your eyes pop, don't use on your bottom lid - line your bottom waterline.

See where she has it? Makes her eyes look more awake and fresh. Like other girls have said, you can highlight your brow bone with white eyeshadow, or do you just mean having inverted panda eyes like-

You can do an awful lot with white eyeshadow, I'm just personally wondering what you want to do with it.
Get the fuck off my harbl, yo'.

im not a beautichian so i dont claim to know a whole lot bout this but, id recomend putting a base (such as concealar) on the eyelids first to prevent creasing or having it look "washed out". if u have pale complexion id recomend also using an eyeliner and mascara in addition to the white eye shadow so your eyes dont look too "washed out". another reason mascaras good is becuz white eye shadow tends to get sprinkled on the eye lashes, making them look white, so mascara covers that.
