    Default some random questions

I just thought Id put these all in one thread, any help is appreciated!

First off I cant stand shaving anymore I get too many ingrowns and that deodorant thing doesnt work for me but with waxing does it mean you have to keep growing it out so you have to be stubbly and then hairy alot of the time because surely it isnt worth it ?

second I really want to get that flawless skin look, I had IPL and got rid of any random freckles etc and I have found the right cleanser and moisturiser so my skin feels so good but it doesnt look as perfect as I want it to so I just wondered what could give my skin that look..face peel or is that just for ageing or microdermabrasion anyone know if that works?

And lasty I love this girls hair but how would I do it ? I currently use heated rollers on my natural hair and 1inch curler on my extensions but the curls jus look crap after an hour and always fall out so I thought a more wavy look might last looking nicer through the night

    1) For shaving. Get laser hair removal. If you don't want it all off, cause you don't want to be a bald eagle when you are 90, then leave a landing strip.

    2) I find a fortnightly peel is really helpful for my skin. The place where I go uses a sylicytic sp? peel because I am acne prone.

3)For the hair... Has your stylist layered your hair properly so you can achieve this look? If it is layered properly. Using salon quality products, blow dry with a round brush to create wave and then using the rollers and tons of hairspray it should stay as long as your hair is not poker straight.

Jessie, have you had the laser hair removal done down there? How much was it and they do brazilian right? I really want to get this, especially since I heard it's better now. My mom had it done years ago when it first came out and she still gets patches of hair. Also, do you know if it works any differently on darker skin?

    Sorry for the threadjack.

^ I haven't had it done yet...for the life of me I don't know why. It's just one of those things that always ends up on the bottom of the to do list. LOL. But it is very very popular in Australia. All my non-stripper friends have even had it. It's around $140 I think per treatment for a full brazillian and underarms. Usually takes between 6-10 treatments. And yes, they have to tell you that it is not "hair removal" but "hair reduction", but most of the people I know who had it done have hardly any hair at all now. Just a bit of peach fuzz. I think it works best on fair skin and dark hair. I think darker skin is ok but there is a higher chance of pigmentation issues with dark skin. People with fair or red hair can't do it though. I'm a prime candidate. I'm as white as Nicole Kidman and my hair down there is black, black, black and thick! Funny cause I'm a natural blonde.

I have had microdermabrasion which was ok but I have also had a Green peel twice. It evened out my skin tone and got rid of pigmentation scars. My looked really smooth after, I was very happy with the result

I get microdermabrasion done every couple of months and it makes my skin amazing. Get it done at a medical place or dermatologist not at a beauty salon. In the wrong hands it can go wrong and u end up with a very grazed face (it happened to me and my skin was sore for a week).

I have had laser hair removal done - brazilian (including butt hole lol) and underarms. It's excellent!!

I wear loads of clip in extensions so its hard to have like layers because I forget where I wear all the clips lol but I could try figure something out like get my hair cut in a style inc my extensions and then put a colour on each clip depending where abouts I wear them on my head or something like that...

^ yeah I would recommend that. Without proper layering my hair won't hold a curl or wave either.

don't mean to hijack the thread, but do you think microdermabrasion would help with scars from razor bumps/ingrown hairs? thanks!

I tweeze "down there". I have been doing it for about 5 years now and the hair barely even grows back in now Its time consuming though. I do it on sunday nights when im not working and it lasts at least a week/week and a half before hair starts to grow back.
Its actually more of a habit now for me. Im never without my tweezers.

Short answer...yes. I use a microderm scrub on the front of my nooni everyday and follow up with a glycolic cream out of the shower. If I forget 2 days in a row... I'll have about 5 new ingrowns. WTF!
