    Thumbs up Re: * $tripper Survey *

    1. Who and/or what is your motivation for dancing?:
My 2-year old daughter. I want to give her the world.

    2. What is your dancing background/history?:
I'm 21. I started when I was 19, danced for a year, got in trouble, took a break, and now I'm ready to start again.

    3. How has dancing changed you and your life?:
It's made me a lot more assertive and confident. And it's bought a lot more than diapers.

    4. What do you like most about your job?:
I like the money, the work out, dancing itself, and sometimes meeting cool people. Sometimes.

    5. What do you dislike?:
Pretty much everything else. Sleezy guys. Bitches. Etc.

    6. Do you have any other plans or aspirations?:
    Many. I'm a big dreamer.

    7. One good moment:
Getting my first regular who took me shopping and always got CR's

    8. One bad moment:
    Running into my ex.

    9. One embarrassing moment:
Having a dancer tell me my tampon string was hanging out after I shook my ass in a customer's face and he refused to tip me.

    10. Any advice?:
Focus on the job. Don't get caught up in strip club drama, and leave your personal drama at the door.

I am for the most part retired, so I'll answer based on my past.

    1. Who and/or what is your motivation for dancing?:
Mostly money, but I liked the idea of doing something I loved (dancing) that fit around my school/work schedules. When I first started I thought it was all about just dancing.

    2. What is your dancing background/history?:
I have a vast dance experience. I took dance at the age of 3, and was really good right away. I took it for many years, and was offered a dancing scholarship at a local school but my parents didn't like that idea. In high school I was in cheerleading, which at my school also did pom pons.

    3. How has dancing changed you and your life?:
I'm not sure how it changed my life. Probably I am more cautious around guys now.

    4. What do you like most about your job?:
I liked when I made good money and all I had to do was flirt with guys. I worked in no contact clubs so there wasn't the problems many dancers face today. Nothing feels better than several hundred dollars all for dancing and flirting.

    5. What do you dislike?:
The jerks, including customers and management. Nothing worse than being rejected cruelly, rather it's a customer doing it or a club rejecting me.

    6. Do you have any other plans or aspirations?:
I never thought of dancing as a career for me. I started dancing in school, continued afterwards until I got settled in a career. While still dancing I started an agency (now defunct) because I knew it wouldn't last and was realistic. I didn't want to be one of those dancers who are stuck with no options. I sometimes still do bachelor parties or model (all through references), but these are drying up more and more and when I get married I plan to quit completely.

    7. One good moment:
One moment that sticks out was this one night. There were these two guys from Texas (I think they were oilmen) and they were tipping $50 each time I went onstage. They didn't buy dances but I made several hundred just doing this. This was a bikini club to boot.

    8. One bad moment:/9. One embarrassing moment:
I'm putting these together because I have one moment that fits with both. I was dancing at this one club and these really cute cops (friends of the owners) would come in. Several girls would tell me the one cop was interested in me and to flirt with him. He was so cute and my heart would flutter when he came in. So I'd go and talk to him. Long story short, my then roommate told me that it was a cruel joke played on me (she wasn't involved). The cop had no interest in me and the dancers all got together to play this evil trick because they disliked me. I'm not sure to this day why they disliked me, but they did. Later on, they started telling the one manager that I was saying what a jerk was and I got suspended from the club because of it. In hindsight I suspect it was jealousy because many dancers weren't making the money I was. I later found out that several dancers were being pimped out by the managers.

    10. Any advice?:
Yes, don't be buddy with dancers. After the incident mentioned, I kept my distance from most dancers. At later clubs I was friendly but not friends (I thought I was friends with a few of the girls who played that trick). Also, never lend anything to anyone you don't care to get back. Personally, another one I always tell dancers is never leave their belongings at work. Sure, it can be a pain carrying around stuff, (at one club I had a gown, a suitcase, a disk case, and a Caboodle for my makeup), but much better than having it destroyed as I've seen. I would put my items in my car trunk and often leave them there, but at least I knew they were safe.
