Default To all SW dancers and ex-dancers:

Now that I've actually 'worked' at a SC for a day, it gives me such a huge, much more enlightened view of Stripping. In my Newbie Board post I told how I couldn't even finished my first shift. I commend you ladies. I hope to be able to deal as well as you guys can, and very soon, hopefully.

I learned a lot from SW that gave me a huge advantage. Thank everyone for all their posts.

This isn't the end! I shall return to the club in a month or so and take it on fully prepared. Next time.

Congrats! Yes, it can be traumatic and horrifying at times, (and sometimes not worth it) but you'll find that it gets easier. I was terrified the first time I danced. Eventually it got easy.

Don't take it personally, that the customers were into their favorites...you will become someones favorite too it just takes time. Are you sure that this club just doesn't fit you? I don't know about anyone else...but every job I've ever had employees and customers were generally polite "hi how are you" and such, but generally i would get the cold shoulder to a degree from everyone. It seems that people don't trust me and want to scope me out and try to figure out what I'm about before devoting time, money and friendship...I'm rambling but I just don't think you should take what happened on your first day personally and it seems like you did your research and went in as prepared as possible.

It's a great club, and that table was the, sadly, ONLY table i went up to, because there were so few customers. Everything this night was just against me. Thank Goodness the whole staff was great and the club was awesome. I'll be going back and trying even harder. I just didn't push myself far enough. Thanks for the advice!
