    Default Long hair cuts?

So my hair is about 4 inches past my shoulders and it has long layers cut in and around my face and a side fringe that has grown out. I am in desperate need of getting my hair done, i want to go strawberry blonde but i want to jazz up the cut a bit as ive been having it cut like this for years. Any recommendations?

    I'm the blonde

Your hair is really cute But I understand what you mean, I need to change up my hair too, it's to my mid back and I haven't cut it in years (not sure how I made it through beauty school with the length in tact, ha ha). But it's looking pretty scraggly nowa days. I just can't decide what to do with it.

If you're desperate, there's always glue in extensions, too. You can usually buy the weft from a beauty supply (round $40ish for 15" length, $60-100 for 18-21" human hair) and find a friend with a VERY steady hand to help you out (almost everyone has that "one" friend that can rock makeup and hair). If you decide to go this route, do your research first! Sure you can find instructions on the net.

I can't personally get the clip one's to stay in my hair (it's baby fine) but they can be a good option too if you have courser hair. Same thing, you can buy the weft and clips and make them yourself for a lot less money. Human hair can be colored to match too. Or for an even cheaper option, you can use synthetic hair wefts.

I actually like what you have going on in your smaller avatar: the side swept part, nice and smooth, looks like a long bang maybe (I can't really tell for sure). Then if you let that keep growing a bit longer. For haircolor, I really see you with multi-tonal hair color (like 3-4 different tones) so it has kind of a pretty ribbon strand thing going on. I think that combined with the smooth, straight styling would look really good.

I vote to skip the extension.

Why not just start curling your hair different ways and using some backcombing to add more volume?

Go to a salon and have them style it differently and see how that goes. I also like the different tone idea for your hair-thatll look different. Try curling it differently-in, out, in and out, there are so many different ways. Straight hair too-your smaller avatar looks very pretty.

Don't cut your hair. Your length has endless possibilities for styling. Experiment with different tools. You can get inexpensive ones at Sally's.

Thanx i have a sallys card, i def dont want it cut off i was just thinking how to have layers or something or even perhaps a fringe, i dunno though. I think perhaps the change of colour will suffice.

Hi, I know your question was posted a few months ago, but I was just wondering what you decided to do with it now.

    A. I liked your haircut in the photo that you posted
    B. your color is nice too, it really brought out your eyes.

If you want something new and cheap, why don't you try an new shampoo and conditioner that are a little higher grade than your current one. Most times, the way your hair falls, shines, and feels is due to your shampoo/conditioner.

I have super long dark brown hair that I cut twice a year, since it's very healthy. I use herbal essences, but also switch up to Tresemme. There is also another brand that made my hair sooo [email protected]&^#% sexy called "it's a 10"
Sometimes switching up the shampoo when you have a nice cut and healthy hair can make a difference.

Also, if you want your hair to grow faster and stronger, ass a packet of Knox clear/flavorless gelatin to your favorite hot beverage. Adding gelatin to your diet increases hair and nail growth. My grandma taught me this trick when she started to loose hair. (she is 80 now, still has beautiful hair which she dies with henna, and a bf that is 48. Needless to say, I wanna be her when I'm 80). I believe knox also offers a gelatin product specifically for hair and nail growth, at a higher price point. This is not necessary, they are the same thing.

The clear Knox gelatin can be found in the baking or jello isle and costs less than 4 or 5 bucks

Thanks for your message. I ended up just having a trim and i have my hair coloured a darker blonde with a hint of red. I am really loving it and wanting to go more red next time as i forgot what it was like to have darker hair!
Not the best pic and you cant really see the colour well. I am due to have it coloured again in a few weeks so hope to get a better pic then

If you're still looking to do something with a long hair cut and you want extensions (but can't afford them) I would try Jessica Simpson and Ken Pave's "HairDo", they sell real and artificial hair that is one clip in piece that is very sturdy and totally looks real. Try ebay first- the fake hair ones are like less than $50. I've bought them myself I just got too lazy and let my own hair grow out so now it's just as long haha.

    first pic.

Why are you even getting it done again? Just more color? Your hair looks like it'd be easy to curl, you should try doing big round curls, it'd be hot. Plus, fellas seem to love curls.
