    Default Bordello Shoes

Does anyone else have any problems with Bordello shoes making their toes/front feet pads go semi-permanently numb? I have these shoes:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00..._ya_oh_product

I have front gel inserts which help, but not that much. I'm hoping that it's just this pair of shoes and that maybe a different pair of Bordello shoes would work, such as:

    http://www.amazon.com/TEEZE-16-Heel-...d=BZHM5WN08ZXU

    or

    http://www.amazon.com/Bordello-Pleas...=pd_sbs_shoe_1

    or

    http://www.amazon.com/TEEZE-09-Conce...pd_sbs_shoe_11

    or

    http://www.amazon.com/Maryjane-Platf...pd_sbs_shoe_41

    Experiences and input? Thanks!

I'm afraid that I'm going to crank out this 'old chestnut' again........I model very high heels for a living and have to wear shoes like these all the time.

I've come across 'Bordello' heels once or twice - and both myself and the other wearers complained about pains or numbness in our toes.

They are very steeply arched, with short toe-boxes - great on looks - but not so hot on comfort.

My suggestion - if you can - is to go up a half size or a whole size - to give the front of your foot more room to spread out. You could also look to see if they make them in broad fittings.

One of the most common forms of foot complaints or damage from high heels is the feet being restricted in movement and not breathing properly (yes...feet need to breathe). As these styles are either lace up, or have buckles, a slightly larger size shouldn't be loose on your feet.

If 'Bordello' don't do a larger shoe that fits OK - try the 'Devious' range by 'Pleaser' - although 'Bordello' ARE a very distinctive style.

If you like - you can 'PM' me and I'll look through all my suppliers for a few more names for you.

Even my regular work shoes do this to my toes. I haven't been able to feel the very tip of my left big toe in a couple of years, and now I notice that the toes on both feet tingle painfully after a night of work.

I can't imagine the discomfort of bodellos!!

    For me it's the angle.
I have those shoes... and they, and any other shoes I have with that much of an angle make my poor toes go numb.
Like PiB said. Go up an extra size/half size... I do that and then stuff them with delicious squishy padding.

Personally, here's what I do. And it works goddamn wonders.

I come from a LOOOOOOONG history of ballet. Been doing it since I was 3, and I went en pointe when I was 8. As a result, I have so much nerve damage, it's not even funny.

In my Bordellos, and certain other styles - I noticed that same horrific foot pain with the closed-toe styles. I got a wild hair up my ass and decided, "This sucks. These hurt - GOD, these fuckers hurt just like my pointe...shoes...OH MY GOD!!!!" So, I ran and got my pointe shoe pads and stuck them in the toe of the shoe.

Works like a CHARM. They're a little tighter now, obviously - but once you walk in them for a couple of minutes, the gel adjusts and squishes to make you nice and comfy. Seriously, it's fucking AMAZING.

The brand I use is called "Ouch Pouch" http://www.bunheads.com/gel/OuchPouch.html . They also have these things called "Jelly Toes" which are great for if you have a section of shoe that just frigging murders one of your toes - pads it really nicely. Looks sort of like a band-aid. Wouldn't recommend this if you have foot fetish cutomers or regulars, but otherwise guys won't likely notice in an open-toed shoe. "Jelly Tips" ROCK for closed-toe shoes.

You CAN cut the Ouch Pouches without gel getting everywhere - but I wouldn't recommend it without sewing over the seam. Hand sew with embroidery thread or something similar, it keeps everything in place. STAY AWAY FROM THE PRO PADS! They have no gel under the foot, which is great for ballet (us ballerinas love to "feel the floor") but not so hot for strippers. Fuck the floor.

Hopefully this helps a couple of you out!

PS: I also tend to use my "Space Pack", also on the site, when I'm not in my heels or pointe shoes. I use them during regular walking around the house or when I wear flats - it really helps with toe and joint pain in my feet. Realigns everything properly.

Thanks for this - it's of use to me too! You see - I often model 8" Ballet Heels and they hurt like hell as well - especially standing up - so this is a great help!

Does this go along with the advice to wear the shoes a half or full size too big, or does it work just as well (or better?) with the correct shoe size?

    Also, everlasting thanks.

It's usually a good plan to get your shoes about 1/2 size larger, the ouch pouches aren't super thick, but it can get a little tight in there. I personally don't buy my shoes larger, but I'm VERY used the the tight squeeze - ballet shoes are meant to be super tight.

I use them with my ballet boots too! I LOVE THOSE SHOES~!!! I am able to actually work the pole in my ballet boots when I have the ouch pouches on. The tips you get are amazing when a guy finally realizes what shoes you have on. Mad respect from the other girls too! lol

If anyone has any questions, I'm happy to take a PM!

Respect to you Missy! Dancing in Ballet heels....WOW! I have enough on my plate just modelling the things! My White Thighboots and Ankle boots (posted above) are by 'RedHeel' from Austria....which Brand do you usually buy? 'Devious' by Pleaser are pretty good.....and 'Little Shoe Box' are excellent - although sadly now out of business.

I use Devious by Pleaser, or I get them specially made by a fetish site that are formed MUCH closer to a pointe shoe. I've also been known to dance in my "pony play" shoes. If you're curious, the site I use is:

    www.punitiveshoes.com

Their ballet shoes look really funny, which is why I have them specially made. lol

I LOVE the looks I get dancing in those things. It's so fun.

i bought myself a pair of bordellos for xmas and i was FINALLY able the wear them without discomfort last weekend. i wasn't getting numbness, but even though i went up a size my toes felt like they were being smooshed so much i couldn't wear them for much longer than an hour or so. i got them stretched by a shoemaker and then put in th dr. scholl's her her gel pads. wore them to a Penthouse magazine party - stood for hours - and my feet didn't hurt at all.
