    Default Goin for a run on the beach!

    Im getting ready for summer. I dont wanna lose weight, I just really wanna tone my thighs and booty,and Im getting bored with lunges and squats. Gonna run in the dry sand today and see how that goes. Def. will make a few sandwiches afterwards to replace the calories though!

    Anybody else run on the beach?

    I wish I had a beach to run on!, I thought it was better to run on wet sand?

    Its better for your body to run on wet sand since its tightly packed it means less work and strain. I prefer dry sand, makes u work harder which means results. Just takes some gettin used to. My run was FABULOUS today and even though I dont do ocean water, I really considered goin in up to my knees. I was HOT.I did good.
    Then hit Burger King on the way home. Go me. LOL

    Ohhh this is def one of my fave activities! Even on days when you don't feel like moving a muscle, there's just no way to be mad once you get there! I can't wait til I buy my car this summer so I can get back into my beach routine!

    Im wondering will it tone my butt too...or just my calves? My biggest thing is thighs and butt....but im so bored with lunges and squats. Need a change in pace but not if its ONLY cardio. Def. dont need weight loss

    Another benefit of running on sand is if you do it barefoot its like getting a foot scrub.

    And Lord knows these dogs need all the scrub they can get cuz they are quite a mess!
