Default 'Brazilian' - Waxed or Shaven..??

I'm natural blonde and I'm blonde down below as well. My modelling doesn't demand that I keep myself neat and tidy downstairs, but I always shave completely nonetheless.

My husband is a fan - and I much prefer having it as a Brazilian too. However, I've never had it waxed, as I'm a total coward when it comes to pain (!!) - so I shave - and use a mild depilatory cream for my perianal area.

So I guess my questions are - how many of you ladies have a Brazilian - how many shave/use cream - and how many have it waxed?

I wax. Also, my beautician had a word with me about common misconceptions re: what a Brazillian is - that little landing strip is optional, apparently a Brazillian wax is everything, front and back, as opposed to just your girly bits.

I laughed, and she waxed my buttcrack.

It... was sore. But not anymore, you get used to it. I'm just funny about my own body hair, I want it gooooone!

I love hairy men, don't get me wrong, I love my bear and wouldn't have him any other way - but Jesus H Christ I have got to be all slippery. Hydrodynamic, like seals!

I think I just like that post-wax night in bed, with fresh sheets, where you can go wigglewigglewiggle against them and the smoothness feels aweso-

    Yeah, I'mma shut up.

I know I'm over thinking this, but in our line of work is there any reason to even have it re-waxed after you do it the first time?

I mean, if I see stubble I shave it off since I have dark public hair and I don't want to get any lip about things sticking out. But if I were to do a wax every 4 weeks I'd have to wait till it was about 1/2 an inch long.

And I can't go to work with 1/2 of hair around my g-string.

I'm curious about this too... I've always shaved down there and wasn't sure how girls handled having to grow out their hair to wax it again in any adult kind of work.

I love to be completely hairless down there, with the exception of a tiny inverted triangle of hair at the top. I just don't feel clean and pretty otherwise! My bf really likes it too. I shave all the time because I'm always working, but prefer to wax. Every now and then if I take a break long enough to let it grow a little bit I'll have it waxed and then continue to shave once it starts growing back.

Shaving is more efficient and inexpensive, but waxing leaves you nice and smooth for weeks!

I have it totally bare and I shave. Refuse to do the waxing thing.

Ya I waxed once... and never ever will I do that shit again! The agony! I have really think dark hair and lots of it so I think it was extra painful. The way I figure is, if I have to put up with face stubble...you have to put up with my pussy stubble. If you don't like it, you best be walkin on bitch! I shave her all off though. even the ass crack... I have some superior shaving skills. Only ever cut myself once in the 6-7 years I've done it. I am definitely finally investing in laser this year though. I hear it will change my life.

I love brazilian waxes. I don't really want to do the laser hair removal because what they do is burn your hair follicle to the root to stop it from growing. That's not good because your body was meant to have that follicle for a reason. But Brazilian waxes are awesome as long as you go to a professional/perfectionist. Once I did the first one, it was a breeze everytime but it's wise to go to only the person that specializes and does only brazilian otherwise someone else may really mess you up. The place I go to in Houston is Helena's and OMG they have gels and all sorts of things to make it less painful and it's really not bad, I talk to her and hold conversation whenever I go. In about 25 min, she's done, depending on how much is down there! lol.

^I personally think laser is safe with a medical grade laser done by a qualified and experienced professional. The hair follicle is there to support the hair. I don't think any of these reasons here would be reason enough for me not to get laser... besides shaving is the same thing... http://www.smartersex.org/sexpert/an...p?SexpertID=44

In fact no laser hair removal is in fact permanent. Some of the hair will grow back. Many people need to get touch ups over the years. Most places will make you sign something that says you understand that it is permanent hair reduction not permanent hair removal. Repeated waxing over years also damages the hair follicle.

I got hooked into waxing, I noticed when I shave Iend up dealing with alot of ingrown hairs and skin irratation. but it does get pricey to wax every 6 weeks.

So for the time being I am shaving so far I haven't experienced ingrown hairs maybe because of the body exfloiant I use daily when I shower. it seems to keep that down and also no itching when the hair grows back.

but to compare to two of them since I have done themboth long enough to notice the difference Iwould go back to waxing as soon as I can. the pain isn't that bad I found getting my eye brows done more painful. but the pain goes away and the results are fabulous.

Laser hair removal.. no more ingrowns and irritation You have to shave sometimes in between sessions but it's not much, it's very fine and takes ages to grow back
