Default weight lifting and implant pain

I've been working out hard at the gym lately and in the last week my breasts are sore. I know the difference between muscular pain and this is more of a bad pain and I think it's to do with my implants.

If I do exercises that activate my pectoral muscles will it cause damage to my implants? They don't feel as soft either.

are your implants above or below the muscle? mine are below, and I've found that when I am lifting, if I move a certain way, my chest hurts, like a shooting or throbbing pain. Also, the more muscle I gain, the harder the implants get because of all the muscle on top of them.

i would still call your plastic surgeon though, and just ask.

hmmm this is a good question. You know I want them but this scares me a little cause I have been a gym junkie since 16. Is it possible to try to do less chest work? Does your PT have any experience with this? Some PT's can just be total dickheads and not understand that you dont want muscles in some places. My arms for example are starting to look stupid and they just insist I go up in weight... hello I dont want to look like a man thanks. The hardness and soreness could also still just be muscle pain since you have probably used those muscles a lot less since the BA. Right after working out your muscles will be filled with blood and harder anyways.

I have heard mixed reviews, but my Dr said not to use my pecs after my BA beyond normal stuff. No weight lifting or pole tricks that require the pectoral muscles.

Seems like everyone says something different though. Best to ask your own doc I am guessing.

This blows my mind away. My good friend is a complete fitness nut. Like she does the World fitness comps. A lot of fitness chicks have implants.

I have half under/half over round co-gels and I am huge into pole dancing, I do a lot of stunting and have no issues. As long as your properly warming up your muscles there should be no issues.

Also regular massaging. I still massage my boobs over a year later. Also wear a sports bra 24/7. You should never sleep without one. It makes a hueg difference in your implants. My surgeon told me to wear a sports bra even years after my BA.

I have saline (under the muscle, over fill). I guess they are far more likely to break. I even accidentally broke the "test" implant while waiting for my consult.

And what about all the pole champs? They all have them and obviously are using their pecs. Come to think of it, I heard that exercise helps to massage the implant and make it softer...

I think it really depends on a lot of things. Different Drs say different things. There's different types of implants (internal filling), different placement (over, under, someone mentioned partial over under?), different sizes (overfilled, ect)

I know lots of gals that still do pole tricks and work out and are just fine.

I was told to be careful and was and still ended up with a complication (though probably unrelated).

    Just lots of variables.

Yep so true. Alena Downs from Pole Junkies, probably one of the best pole dancers out there has saline implants under the muscle. I believe hers are overfill as well and shes never had complications.

I feel your frustration I really do. I searched long and hard for my surgeon. I went to 20 some odd consults across the country.

Then the one I settled on while he was fantastic just wasn't exactly what I wanted. lol I wanted a bit more of a lift then I got.

Yeah, I searched for a couple years for mine too (only went to about 5 consults tho). Ended up going out of state because all the gals that had BAs that I LOVED went to the guy I ended up choosing.

I actually *loved* the job at first, for the first couple years in fact (also had a lift) but years later, I have this problem, they are a bit too big, I would like more lift as well, and they just don't look the way they used to. So I am questioning my first decision, not sure if I should go with the same guy or not.

I don't much like any of the local surgeons, didn't back then either. But I guess I have a while to figure it out as I am pretty sure I won't have the money for a while.

My PT has unders too. She is a sports model and she says it's never caused her any trouble but hers are really old - they are saline which nobody uses in Australia anymore (I've only seen one girl who got them within the last 10 years).

Ill have a chat to her. I dont see the point in doing chest exercises when u have implants anyway coz obviously the shape is great as it is.

So funny I sat in a massage chair at the gym today and it was vibrating and my boobs were bouncing around so much even though i had my gym bra on lol.
