    Default Oranges and Blue cheese

I just had the most delicious salad! I need to go to the grocery store, so was just throwing together whatever was left in the fridge for dinner tonight.

    Spring mix pre-cut salad
    1 navel orange
    Handful of walnut peices
    blue cheese crumbles
    Blue cheese dressing

Sooooooo good! A perfect winter pick-me-up salad. So much better than the left over lasagna.

    YUMM-EEE!!

I LOVE blue cheese...have you tried 'Roquefort' cheese from France? It's THE MOST delicious blue cheese, but unfortunately, very expensive. I eat orange segements and halved seedless grapes with a blue cheese salad, on a bed of rocket and iceberg lettuce, sprinkled with chopped walnuts and hazelnuts - simply delicious!

Subsitute dried cranberries for the oranges. Also very good.

Some other nuts to try in salad are slivered almonds or crushed peanuts.

If you like alittle kick, try those dried green peas with wasabi coating. I love those in a salad.

Mmmmm. I only like blue cheese in small quantities , but it's awesome for salads - you don't have to use much. Sounds good. Maybe I should go grocery shopping.
