    Default naval re-piercing

I had my naval piercing for 10 years and recently it got torn out. That was a couple of months ago. Getting it re-pierced on thursday but I have to work thursday night. If I don't wear anything that rubs against it should it be ok? I don't think I'll be able to put any fake tan or bronzer on it?

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

Yeah it might be a little red but otherwise alright. Just rise it really well before you dance with the saline water and don't touch it. It should be fine.

I had mine done a few months ago and it was fine that night (was a little puffy and red, but not terribly ugly)

Also keep in mind how you give your lapdances. I wouldn't get mine re-pierced right before I had to work, bc most of the time during lapdances, I lean forward so that my stomach is against the guy or where my ring would be, it brushes against the guy. Then again, I have uber sensitive skin. I think that tanning beds even messed up my old piercings.

Keep your midriff bare, wash with hot sterile saline before and after your shift, and make sure it doesn't get rubbed/tugged on.

Also for consideration - take the plain titanium banana bar until it's healed. No dangly bits or strobe lights or what have you. They are so much more likely to catch on things.
