    Default Passports and Stripping

    I need some advice.

I lost my Canadian passport and to reapply they ask you were you have worked in the past 2 years.

First, should I say entertainer or dancer.
Second, I freelance all over Ontario, so am I technically an employee.

Should I list the clubs Ive worked at most frequently.

    *sigh*

    Thanks in advance!!

American Passports may be different, but when asked, I always just said I was an independant contractor in the entertainment indulstry. Because I have a business license for dancing here in Vegas, I didn't have to list actual PLACES.

If you can't do something like that, I would call yourself an independant contractor, or an entertainer, and list your clubs you worked at the most frequently.

When I did my passport I just wrote that I was an independent contractor. When you go down to the passport office to hand in your papers(do this instead of mailing them, I know its a PIA but its the only way to assure that they will be okay with it all). They may question you on the independent contractor part just tell them your story.

It sucks but when it comes to your passport there is no privacy.

I was lucky when I redid my passport I was working for an agency lol.

Your other option is if you have one club you work at more then others ask the manager if you can just write down that club as your place of employment.

I have to do this soon too. I'm wondering if there would be any issue with lying and saying that I work from home doing hair or something like that?

^^ Don't ever ever ever ever lie on anything with your passport. They WILL find out, believe me. Be honest.

Never heard of having to state what you do for a living to get a passport!, can't you just file a lost or stolen, in the UK you must do that if you loose your passport because of terrorism.

In Canada, you have to state it on any kind of passport application.
