Thumbs up Any suggestions for inspirational books?

I love books that make you feel good and help you improve your life. Does anyone have any suggestions for inspirational books or just any book that made a difference in your life?

I loved the book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man-Steve Harvey

    1) Tony Buzan - "Use your Head" is a good introduction to memory techniques. I wouldn't go to the full extremes of learning all the 'memory tricks in the book', but my day to day memory has improved as a result of reading it.

    2) Marcus Aurelius - "Meditations". The thoughts of a Roman Emperor. Worth having on the bedside table and dipping into for a few minutes a night.

An example: "Never let the future disturb you. You will meet it, if you have to, with the same weapons of reason which today arm you against the present".

Why Men Love Bitches is a good one for dating...
The Ultimate Secrets of Total Self Confidence by Dr. Robert Anthony....I'm reading that one now.

Another is "Get Out of Your Own Way".

I'm about to hit 25 so I'm going through this "self-help" phase.

The Power of Now....Eckhart Tolle (also "A New Earth)

    'Sacred Contracts' - Caroline Myss
'Women Who Run With The Wolves' - Clarissa Pinkola Estes
    'The Alchemist' - Paulo Coelho
'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' - Richard Bach
'The Magic Life' - A Novel Philosophy - Ace Starry
'Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance' - Robert Pirsig

Ethel Waxham's diary entries in Annals of the Former World by John McPhee. You'll need to gloss over all the geology stuff to find those gems. What a remarkable woman.
