    Default Tanning...

Do you girls tan in a tanning bed, use a spray/lotion, or just not worry about it?

lotion. skin cancer runs in my family. plus, i still want to be hot when im 50 .
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

Self-tanner plus Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs in Deep Glow all over my body when I work.

Haven't had a real tan in years--I'm petrified of getting wrinkles.

I'm intending to dance and i already use sally hansens airbrush legs when I go out for the night and intended to use it when i dance. However i thought there could be an issue of it rubbing off on guys/my clothes as this already happens a bit now when I'm im out. Does it cause a problem?

When I do want color (mostly only in the depths of winter) I will use a lotion. Otherwise, no tanning for me! Don't want the wrinkles and cancer that may happen.

I find that Airbrush Legs does rub off a tiny bit on light colored clothing. I've never had any complaints from customers, but then again, I've never given a lap dance to a man wearing white pants!

Tanning real sun/or sun bed is evil..cancer and wrinkles? no thanks.

Sometimes I go with my whiteness and trust me after 5 years pretty much never going in the sun, I am very very white. Like in my avatar. I get spray tans very frequently though. I usually go with a pretty dark spray tan. If I am feeling really lazy but still want some colour I go with St. Tropez mouse. Its not the darkest, but good if I feel like some colour at the last minute.

i do the 8 minute stand up tan bed thing every once in a while. like, once a month. did the spray tan when i danced, but not anymore. will use the sun in the summer to get a glow, with sunscreen of course. i used to burn myself years ago, all summer..... before i cared about wrinkles and stuff. not anymore!!

In order of preference - real sun-tan, then lotions (Garnier 'Summer Body' and Johnson's 'Summer Sun' and 'Holiday Skin'), finished off with 'Airbrush Legs' (but Sally Hansen stuff is REEEALLY expensive here in the UK).

I only go into the real tanning beds when I am having problems with my skin or depression, because the beds always make both of those better. Traditional beds I probably use less than 4 times a year.

Other than that I prefer to be hand airbrused or use VersaSpa or Mystic Tan, followed by the Jergens gradual tan.

dont tan anymore since i've had some skin cancers removed. i do get a lite real suntan in the summer. i totally blame the beds for the skin cancer. in winter i just go to my natural skin color.

Fakebake x-treme, plus a layer of fake bake, and sometimes sally hansen, i hate being so pale, im too scared to go on sunbeds but im having serious problems with my tan at the min, it keeps like, cracking!! Cant be because im not exfoliating/moisturising enuf. Trying a mega moisturising boost plus exfoliation before i tan this weekend. Hope it works coz im going thru instant tan like its going out of fashion and it rubs off on my clothes and makes my white dancing things turn pink in the wash!

I use gradual tan lotion, mystic occasionally and beds and stand ups responsibly. I try my best not 2 burn because thats what gives u skin cancer. If u go in a bed and burn yourself, yeah youre more at risk. Even if u lay outside and burn youre at risk of skin cancer.

I used to do the air brush or mystic booth. I actually prefer the booth because they can spray the clear solution and it only takes a minute. I stopped a few years ago because it never made a difference at work. Now I am trying to get into the fitness industry and I am going to start again. Just found a place around where I live now (Phoenix) that has clear solution for the mystic booth and it is only 15 bucks. Sounds good to me:-)

I never used to tan before...but now I hit the bed every now and again. It's not good for me, but I'm not extremely worried about it, as my sister is nearly forty...tans a lot and still looks like she's in her 20s--no history of skin cancer in our family either. I think it has a lot to with genetics as well. Sun is definitely damaging...just damages some people more than others.

But honestly...I like having a little color--and the fact that the sun doesn't come out at ALL where I live I think it improves my mood. I go for 15mins once or twice a week.

i'll tan naturally in the summer and let my whiteness come out in the winter. i don't go overboard with the tanning but i definitely like having a little color in the summer.

i can't stand being pale. just looks too horrific on me. i hit the best bed money can buy 2x a week and cover my face and use fake tanner on that every night. i tried going all spray tan, all the time but i could never get my hands and feet to come out correctly.

Airbrush tan all the way! I actually bought some of the tanning solution that they use in the salons and make my boyfriend tan me with his airbrush. An airbrush tan at a salon costs like $50, but I bought the tanning solution for $30, and I have a ton of tans in one small bottle.

Tanning bed. I've never had luck (ie skill) with self tanners, and due to the rubbing-off stories I've heard (and ruined bras/panties I've seen on the floor in the dressing room), have had zero interest in a spray on tan.

I don't tan and I stay outta the sun. I embrace my pale natural skin and personally think it looks great. Fair skin is beautiful and healthy!

Avoid wrinkles and skin cancer. Trust me it's not worth it and 20 years from now you'll be kickiing yourself if you tan.

I have realized I look horrible how pale I am. It's actually kind of disturbing. I got a tiny bit of a tan while I was on holiday (what most people would consider very pale still!) and I want to maintain it. Would twice a month in a stand-up be enough to maintain?
