I know there are a couple of threads on whether or not you should tip them, but i want to know how much you guys would tip in my particular situation.
Last night at work i found a closet sub who after one lapdance completely turned into my bitch. Well of course he wanted a CR, so i took him on the free tour-- at this club CR host shows the rooms and explains the prices. Well they were packed so one of the managers actually did the tour, and the first room he showed was their most expensive, which he immiately decided to take.
The room is roughly 8,400... its some specific number that i cant remember actually. I only get half of it of course, because the company likes to take as much of our money as possible.
The customer tipped the host 200$.
All of the money that i made off of this room is on hold for a month... I made almost another grand off of a different customer, but my friday night was kind of rotten so I wanted to have most of the money i could take home with me on hand.
I think all in all I tipped 80$.... turns out tips among hospitality get divvied up at the end.
So how much would you think is appropriate. Should I go back in tomorrow and tip the manager more and say it was because i didnt go home with much money due to it being on hold? I dont like just handing out money to people who nothing, but since at DV the staff conducts the tour, he was a factor-- although the fact that the customer was at this point completely 100% my bitch was a much bigger factor-- after this room he tried to buy another 2,000$ room but couldnt get hold of his bank.
But, I dont want anyone conducting the tours to make it hard for me to make more money in the future.
So, what would you guys do? I need some outside input... I am still new to the whole concept of the staff conducting the tour/ being required to help us with sales. And this is the first time i have sold a room that was for this ridiculous amount of money (albeit on hold). So at my old clubs i would just tip them 5 or 10 here or there, and if i felt they helped i would tip maybe 20... or 50 if they helped a lot-- but these were for rooms that were like 400$ and hour... not several thousand.
So yea, kinda trying to figure out the appropriate etiquette here.

. I was just really worried that the employees were going to get together after divvying up the Sat night and be like "fuck that bitch ___. She made a lot and barely helped us, we will make her life difficult from here on out." But i didnt get that vibe at all, phew. I will take your guys advice and help out when i actually get the money.
