Default Real Names, OK to ask?

Let's just say I was in a club recently with a totally cute girl dancing for me. She was beautiful, stunnig eyes, gorgeious long brown hair. Very good looking but in a cute, adorable way.

I ask her name. "Saphire" she replies. Now I wasn't expecting that. She looked like a Nicole, Karen or Molly.

So here's my question. Is it ok to ask the real name, or is this completely forbidden? I didn't in this case, but kind of thought that I might if this happened again. I do realize that this is fantasy.

    Just wondering.....

You can ask but it's not what I would call an ideal ice-breaker with a stripper.

You may ask and get an answer but the "real" name she gives you may in fact be a fake "real name".

I wouldn't. Let them tell you if they want. They use stage names for many reasons, but mostly to protect their privacy. Play it cool is the best policy.

That's so weird. How does a person "look" like a particular name? Either way, I'd get asked the real name question a dozen times any given night dancing. 99% of the time I'd give a fake real name. So go ahead and ask, but its really annoying to the stripper and she isn't going to think much of you for it.

But since a lot of men's fantasy actually IS thinking they are getting to know the girls for real and she is shedding her work persona especially for him....asking the "real name" is part of the fantasy, and most strippers will indulge this fantasy with yet another lie.

This is why I always used a common name (Kelly). That way guys think it's my real name. When I first started dancing I used the name Rio and that was a little more hard to explain (and why I switched to a common name).

The last thing I want to know is their real names. I have a hard enough time keeping all the names straight as it is, and wow do they get pissed if you introduce them by their real name! Though it must be said there are a very few who actually use their real names.

Yet another reason never to date dancers at your own club.

My advice to the OP, compliment them on their choice of name--if you truly like it. This shows you have a clue, and aren't trying to break into the fantasy.

You never ask for a real name, but a lot of times if the night went well you get a different name at the end...now who knows if it is the real name or not.

I much just rather play the game and sometime introduce myself as Zhenya. It is russian and they look at me like that is not your real name and i reply of course not silly its my club name

It will annoy the stripper if you just ask within the first 5 minutes

OK, I'll keep it to myself. In this case it just didn't fit so I was a little thrown off. Thanks for the opinions. I'll keep them in mind.

Don't ever, EVAR ask that! It annoys the ever lovin piss out of almost all dancers. If we wanted to tell you our real name you'd have it. We aren't being asses and it isn't unfair that we get your real name, we have to worry about stalkers, while 99.99999% of the time a customer doesn't exactly have to worry about a hot, young stripper stalking him.

    ^ditto.
Of course she doen't look like a saphire, you #$$%&, its a well known fact that almost all strippers have stage names. Some have real sounding ones, others are gemstones, cars or animals...If she wanted to tell u her real name she would.

I hate the question. You may as well say "I know you're lying to me."

I've had guys really push, but there's a very good reason I don't want you to know my real name. Not to mention that if I say my real name, you'll get tons of people accusing you of lying about that too, saying 'You don't look like a Lexi, you look more like a Veronica to me!'

After months and months of asking, my fav confessed that her real name is Mercedes. I was excited she took me into her confidence.

I've never questioned a customer's name, even when it sounded obviously fake. One man introduced himself to me as "Pervert". Well, that's what I called him, and still call him that.

I really don't care what stories the customers tell, whatever floats their boat. I used a fake real name too. Mine was Carol. It sounded so un-glamorous that it used to make me giggle to tell people that one.

Ahhh the things that young ladies can do with so little information. I had one start digging pretty hard until i told her two could play that game. She quit after i told her exactly where she lived, how old she was, her mothers name, where she graduated from......

the only time i ever researched a dancer and only because she did it to me. Now i doubt seriously she was stalking me but regardless dont go digging into our lives either. If we want you to know we will tell you.

And before anyone on here claims it doesnt happen i have read enough posts here to prove otherwise.

But PJ you feel free to ask me anything girl....i iz an open book for u

I don't mind when guys give me a fake name. What's in a name anyways

I had guys invent countries where they're from, even.

well some guys want to make too much of a game out of it, you tell me your name that's what i call you...but for some reason when they're giving a fake name they have to make it point that it's fake and 'oh-so-funny' that we're both using fake names

I've busted guys attempting to use fake names so many times. Its funny, I call them on it and suggest their don't try to be strippers, they wouldn't be very good at it. We all have a chuckle and back to business.
