So yesterday was my first real day of dancing and wouldn't you know, just at the very end of the shift, another very fabulous and very fashionable young lady mentions, of all things, my most favorite designer of pasties the world over. I thought I would post a link to her site and a few other mentionables. If you are into vintage dance paraphernalia too, please do share your's here as well.
Etsy is a warehouse for all things handmade. They showcase small-time designers and artists with a kind of Amazon.com convenience so they can finally make it big. Just search for "burlesque", "pastie", etc. but be sure to change the search field to "all items", otherwise it will search only "handmade" items first.
*Look for GothFoxDesign's store - http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php...ng_id=39675747 No! They've been sold! I sleep with a picture of these pasties under my pillow. Another designer has the most beautiful hair fascinators to match.
*LoveChildBoudoir - http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php...ng_id=33281911 A-freaking-dorable shrugs and bustle skirts and other things you wish you could wear on gown days.
*French Market Stitch - http://www.etsy.com/shop/olgaitaly After looking at her site, I passed out cold, got up, then posted this link. It's faint-worthy.
*Truly Fallen - http://www.etsy.com/shop/trulyfallen Just a simple search of pasties brought up "Star of David pasties" and "Sheriff pasties"
*Liason - http://www.etsy.com/shop/liaison Feather everything.
