Default Rules you put on yourself to curb excessive spending

My own personal rule that I started following the last time I went to a SC is that I'll ONLY spend money that I have in my wallet. No going to the (conveniently) located ATM that is right next door to the club. Before I make the trip out I will take X dollars in cash and that's it.

Any guidelines you guys like to put on your spending habits gentlemen?

Same rule for me. No credit cards, no ATM's, no club funny money. I go in with cash and leave when it's gone...sometimes before...

Same here. Especially on my home turf.

In the past 3 years that I can remember, only two exceptions. One, with a poor return, in C. Springs. Another in New Mexico resulted in a fun time by all. In both cases the ATM was across the street.

I think the advice here will be pretty consistent: leave the credit cards and ATM card at home, carry the cash you're willing to spend, and call it a night when you reach your limit. Just don't spend more than you've brought...

Take what you can afford to spend and leave when it's gone (if not before).

LOL why not usurp the name? You probably outspend most of us

Back on topic, as a general rule, I go into the club with a tip roll but when it's gone, it's gone and that is the time to scurry on out the door.

I agree with everyone here. Just take in what cash you can afford to spend and have a good time. For me it's usually about $200.00.

same rule as a casino...only take in cash what I want to afford to spend. And often I don't spend all of that.

And...I won't spend it if I don't find what I want. If a SC doesn't have a girl that I like, I'll tip at the stage until I've seen all the girls, and then take off or something. Maybe speak with a few if I'm approached but if I'm not seeing a girl I like, I won't buy LDs or anything

Also, I limit my drinking to a degree. I don't go to a SC to drink, so top shelf liquor is a no-no (actually, I'm not much of a drinker, so that crap is wasted on me anyway)....and I don't spend tons of money on drinking there in general. A few beers, enough to keep the waitress off my back.

No credit cards, ever. Even for drinks. No ATMs. No club money.

And I won't go to places that charge more than 20 bucks for a LD. 25 bucks for a LD is outrageous, I think. No, wait...I might go to such a club but won't buy dances.

If i cut down on my drinking i prob would spend a lot less. Not that it matters much these days.

It'll be a long cold night before you get a LD in Boulder. Nitro is 25, Bustop is 40 on the "platinum" side and Lord knows what on the topless side -- it's been a while for some strange reason. Some but not all clubs in Denver are cheaper, but it's hard to get down there. I don't mind Nitro's $25 dances, though. They are full length songs.

I had only one real rule: only contact the ATF when I had enough to cover the night's visit. I almost never half-assed it in visiting her. If I was going to see her, it was triple digits every time. She was worth that kind of rule.

That said, there were a couple of visits where I was only there for a few dances, but those were very rare.

I agree. I never show up at the club to visit a regular without planning on spending the amount that they are used to getting from me. I go to visit my ATF with the intent of spending several hours and two to three small on her depending on how long we dance for. If I am short of cash or just looking to kill an hour with some T&A I go to an alternate club where expectations are lower.

    1. Don't get drunk at the strip club.

    2. Only spend the cash I bring into the club.

Just take the same amount of money out every time. I went to see Miss J for years on the same day of the week. The last time I went to the ATM it displayed: How is Miss J?

I miss the days when the economy was good. Damn, I spent so much money it was insane but incredibly fun. Flockettes here, random strippers there...on and on. Now I have to spend the bulk of my time and treasure just keeping my business afloat to protect my livelihood and similarly look after my employees.

I haven't curbed an excess in a very long time.

Dizzy Re: Rules you put on yourself to curb excessive spending

The funny thing is ever since I stopped seeing Miss J, I can't find anyone that interests me enough to make me commit to being a regular with again. I can't see spending the money that I was spending regularly on her. (About Miss J: she was not an extras girl at all except she would on occasion grind me to a pulp. But as far as time spent, regularity, wonderful girl next door looks she was just really worth the money to me.) It's ironic that now that the mortgage is paid off I have more expendable money than before and I can't decide on finding another dancer or an escort that I like and I have not the slightest interest in a real relationship of any flavor.

^ I can relate! I'm not wealthy but I do ok and I have a decent budget for discretionary T&A spending. It's never really been about the money for me, it's much more about finding the right women to spend it on.

I have the same rule ... cash when entering the club only. I will open a bar tab on a CC, but no ATM's for lapdances.

Have I ever broken the rule? What do you think?

I am pretty good at sticking to it, but every now and then you find a great girl late in the evening.
