Default i need to fade scars.. help

I really hope someone can help me out..I have lots of small scars on my shoulders, they are small and white and are pretty obvious.

I am really self conscious of them and I want to get rid of them or try to fade them. Does anyone know any products that are worth trying?

    thanks

Bio-oil works wonders for me, personally. I have a lot of hypertrophic scarring.

yep, bio oil (even the cheap cvs brand works great)
plus, mederma works fab also, my sister uses it on her leg.
Def. do a search because this topic has been spoken about a few times and I think a lot of people gave great advice already.

    Vitamin E, Aloe Vera

This is what I used after having surgery on my left fallopian tube. Men always ask if I have a kid and when I say no they call me a liar. Though now most people don't notice the scar, especially after using a fake tanner.

Does bio oil really work better than whatever it's made out of? I couldn't bring myself to pay the $10-20 for what the ingredients. I don't remember what exactly the ingredients are, but I remember thinking something like "Seriously? That much for a little bit of mineral oil?"

I'm not putting the product down; I'm just curious if it's better than just using mineral oil (or whatever is in it)..

There are generic brands that are only about 3-4 bucks and usually on sale in drug stores.

I use Bio Oil, but not religiously, so I'm not sure..A lot of people swear by it.

I would use it more diligently if it weren't for its awful smell...
