I am guessing, from your threads, that this is really not the road you should be going down.
Get the fuck off my harbl, yo'.

I know that club. It's the Fairbanks hotel.
Never worked there, but very familiar with it. BTW for those reading this post I live in the same city as the OP. I am Asian(korean) and white (european) mixed so I might be a bombshell if I ever work there, or who knows I might be a dud...
I have a traditional Korean face (slanty eyes), but my boobs are a D cup. However being 5'7 and 135 pounds I am on the taller/bigger side for an asian. Thus hard to tell wither I would do well there or not.
From what I know it is mostly Asian immigrants that work there. The booker does pay you, however you only get like 50% or some shit like that. Plus from what I remember there is also a house fee to work there. Based on that information I am not sure it is really worth it. But who knows it may just be very busy!
I went and checked out a new club today as well. Hotel Royal in Whitby. I did not dance, rather just went in to talk with the DJ about freelancing there. He gave me the low down;
$50 house fee- Monday-Saturday, but if you do two stages shows each day that you work you get that $50 back.
They don't take % of dances, which IMO is good because if I am paying a house fee I certainly ain't digging the club taking a % of my dances.
$10 for table dances and $20 for minimal contact dances. Not bad IMO.
I am still sitting on wither I want to try Hotel Royal out or not. The thing is it is so close to my home.
The setup at this joint sounds weird, but it might not be bad. Having somebody to book dances for you might relieve some of the pressure to sell. On the other hand, if someone else sells for you, you could be expected to do things that you didn't agree to.
That said, it doesn't sound like you're prepared to be a stripper. You're already grossed out by the men, and that is something will definitely get worse, not better.
You should try to get a job as a cocktail waitress at a strip club. The money is good, and it will give you a chance to see the club from the inside. Also, if you wanted to dance later, you would already know some dancers who may be willing to help you figure things out.
Also, there's no reason to be afraid of asian girls.

Found this post from a thread on dancing in canada, in regards to fairbanks:
You do need a license to dance in Toronto.
I would highly suggest either going out to mississauga or coming east to Whitby. Mississauga does have the airport (so lots of US $ there) and does not require a license. You just show up with ID. However that said, Mississauga is well known to be VERY high contact and lots of girls offering extras. I have a good friend that is a dancer who regularly works those clubs out there. She does offer extras and does things dirty, and blatantly admits to it.
However in the east part of the GTA it is the complete opposite. There is not much US $ out here, no airport or other business type customers. It is more blue collar. From what I know and have seen at Hotel Royal in Whitby it is very low contact and any girl offering extras is not welcome back (was told this by the DJ). Again I have only been to the club once and have not danced there yet. Also I do know that Durham region has been trying for years to get strip clubs shut down (and everyone of them except the Hotel Royal has been closed by Durham), so the club owner is VERY strict about girls not offering extras.
In Peterborough its the same situation. The city wants the club closed down, thus the "no extras" rule is strictly enforced. Even though I live in Oshawa I drive out there to dance because I feel it is a very easy going club and the customers are not grabby for the most part.

Jenni - I'm moving to the Toronto area soon, so your posts are all very helpful to me! Thanks to you and the OP!!!
This clubs sounds fucking shady. I wouldn't work anywhere that I couldn't hustle for myself. I'd bet you anything this booker guy gets tipped out by certain girls to "sell them" harder than other girls. FUCK NO.

If you aren't comfortable being a customer, this may not be the right fit for you.

Have you even tried going in as a customer? Maybe with some male friends?
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.
