    ^^
absolutely rude. how could a person be so cruel as to look at any human being and say "ewww". That just makes me so fucking angry.

If I witnessed that, the guy would be close to tears or would be walking away with his tail between his legs after I was finished destroying any trace of manhood that he thought he had.

Before I had my boob job I was on stage and this fat dude said loudly "her tits are way too small".
When I got off stage I marched right up to him and said "Sorry that my breast size does not appeal to you but there is no need for you to express your dissatisfaction loud enough for me to here. That's just your opinion and I guarantee I am far better looking that whatever you go home to".

Was what I said nasty? Yes. But fuck him. IMO if a customer has the audacity to say something rude to me or one of my friends he opens himself wide up to my stinging tongue.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

^LOL I wish I had said something like that. I just said, "You realize I can hear you? I'm not behind a glass pane!" and didn't go near him. It really upset me cause I really am not a stick at all. The strangest thing was he was old enough to be my father. Usually the older guys are really polite. I think that's why it upset me so much.

Ironically, as I was working yesterday I had two couples (that is, two guys and two girls) sitting at the stage and I'm doing one of many sets on that day.
One of the guys seemed particularly embarrassed by me being on stage and would try to shield his face with his hands. In my second round I've taken off tops and bottoms, I go up to him and exclaim in my loudest voice: HOW ARE YOU? MAN, WE ARE HAVING A NICE SUNDAY.

His friends start to laugh uncontrollably and literally sprinkle him with ones for me to be all over him for. He looked like he felt like an idiot, he certainly did look like it.

I go off laughing to myself and with the most tips I made on stage for the day. Win.

I understand how you feel because I have been told to eat a cheeseburger plenty of times. It's very annoying and my tolerance for these ignorant assholes is wearing thin. I probably eat more than they do. I'm just not a lazy inactive slob and I have a fast metabolism. Next time I hear anything remotely like that I'm gonna tell him exactly what I think of him - ugly or fat (which is usualy the types of guys who make these rude comments). There are guys who like thin girls. I find that usually the older guys like women with more meat and the guys closer to my age (20s) like a thinner woman, needless to say younger guys like me. Sometimes a few old ones here and there. But I guess we can't please everyone.

Thank you, obese people of america, my 97 lb frame is considered the enemy, even though i eat right, exercise, and, according to my doctor, right where i should be, weight wise.

Ughhhhh this "don't call them fat, it's rude" thing makes me so mad.

I always hate when I'm talking to a guy, and I happen to be admiring the dancer on stage, and he makes some nasty comment about the way she looks. It's like dude, no one cares. Pick the girls you like and don't tell me things like ooh she's too fat/muscular/skinny. Holy shit. There'll always be a guy in the club that thinks we are beautiful, why do they have to comment so much? Fuck em.

Just try to act like it doesn't bother you even if it does. I act quite aloof at work and guys seem to really like the cheek of it. Sometimes if a guy says "you're hot" I say "Tell me something I don't know" and smile. I copied it off Samantha from sex and the city LOL. It depends on my mood though and the customer.

Ugh I HATE it when guys call you "thick" and then claim it's a compliment. I'm a tall girl and very fit but I am not THICK!

I get told how thick I am all the time. I say thank you usually or smile. Personally I don't like it because it bothers me. I think it bothers me more since I was always told as a teenager that I was too big and needed to lose weight by my aunt. I weighed 112 lbs and stood 5'1" back then and certainly was NOT fat. She wanted me to be 95 lbs. Let me also note I was a competitive figure skater (still skate but not as competitive anymore). Now at around 150 lbs and just under 5'4" it messes with my head. The sad part...when I do work out and eat better, I can't lose the weight no matter how hard I try.

I apologize now if I've jumped all around the topic. I've got two days left on the prednisone they prescribed me for something with my lungs and it messes with my head.

i have always been picked on because i am naturally thin and reasonably good looking. people dont realise that "pretty" people might not have such high self esteem, on the inside.. .
it seems like these days its "cool" to be fatter.. i dont know.

A lot of guys are really horrible. I'm very glad I have my husband.

A lot of guys turn nasty when you turn them down, or when they know they don't have a chance with you. In a really bad incident one time I was in a club and a guy tried to kiss me, I pushed him away and he tried to smash a glass into my face but luckily my hand stopped it.

I have other really horrible things happen before too, like male friends suddenly deciding to fall in love with you, then when they know it's not going to happen they turn nasty and try to turn everyone against you.

There's actually a guy that works in a shop near here that I go into almost every day. He's foreign, Spanish or something I think. He stares at me every day, right up and down which I find creepy and repulsive, and walks past me and mutters stuff in his own language.

He ID'd me before for smokes (I'm Twenty eight) and made a big show of it in front of everyone. I want to say something to him but then I don't want to feel awkward when I go there. And if I tell my husband he'll kill him, lol. Such an asshole.

When men make nasty comments it's not because it's true, it's because they're insecure, pathetic little misogynists. Don't take it seriously.
