I'm confused about the links.... am I seeing correctly that the only difference between the first and second style is 1" of height?
you had to finish your stage set barefoot? lol. im sorry.... just sounds a little funny, I've never seen a stripper on stage with no shoes on. haha. dont mean to offend ya =)
That is so strange! I always wear these (I have black, white, and clear), and have never had a problem with them breaking or tearing. I tend to be kinda tough on my shoes too, and point my arch pretty hard with i'm in them. http://www.pleaserusa.com/ProductDet...IGH801%2FC%2FM
Do you not like how you can't see through the sole on the clear ones rather than it being hollow? I personally like how theres little dividers in there because they reflect light onstage, esp if the stage has mirrors.

try the extremes. they're a inch taller, but have a sturdier sole. the springolator has a two part construction, whereas the extremes have a one piece molded heel.
(total shoe nerd. i work in a stripper store and know more about pleasers than i ever really wanted to. >.< )

I had the same thing happen to me, with the same shoe. This happened this past summer and I was wearing http://pleaserusa.com/ProductDetail....LAM809%2FR%2FM

Oooh - Ouch! I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself. Falling off a broken platform isn't funny - especially if your full weight is behind it.
Have you contacted the Retailer where you bought them? They should replace them free of charge. They can hardly claim you were misusing the shoes can they - they are DANCER'S heels after all.
If you don't have any joy there, contact 'Pleaser' directly and tell them what happened. They are a very reputable company and I'm sure they'll be just as upset as you to hear that their heels broke so publicly. If they're worth their salt, they should offer you a replacement - either the same or a different pair - of your choice.
Unless the shoes have a FULL-HEIGHT steel rod in the stiletto heel connected to a shank (which these don't) - you're always running the risk of a very high plastic heel snapping, as it is not hugely strong.

I've never had a problem with pleaser, or any other brand. I would say a fluke??? Never had a shoe break in 7 years, but I seen it happen before. Always keep a reliable back up pair in your locker or suitcase ladies!
