I'm the stripper you can be in love with

find a club with a pole?
lol. i kid.
when i worked at clubs that didn't have poles, many girls just struck sexy poses, or did a sort of sexy-runway-walk-thing...or just did a lot of floor work. i find in these clubs without poles, not a whole ton of stage tipping is done. :/

Yes, posing is the key. You might want to go to youtube and look up videos on burlesque. Watch how they move their hands, arms, etc. What the turns and such as well. You'll see some dramatic poses to - those are what you need to be going for.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

Is it just a normal stage just minus a pole? Or is it more of just a platform with absolutely nothing there? I do peepshow, so there are no poles, except bars by the windows. We do have a ridge on our stage and I'll use it when doing floor work to angle my body a little better.
If there is a mirror on the back wall you can use that. Think of it like anything you would use a pole to help with balance, just do that on the mirror. Like doing headstands.

Two of our stages at my club don't have poles and the main stage only has two poles and they put 5 girls up at once - it's a long cat walk. When I don't have a pole, I just dance slowly and seductively and touch my body. Also break it up with floor work.
It's hard at first to balance without a pole but u do get used to it. I hated it when I started at the club tho.
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

^^^ This reminds me so much of a couple of excerpts from the book "Flesh For Fantasy":
"You give up and cling to the pole for dear life."
"Somehow you remember you are supposed to take your clothes off, and you toss them awkwardly on the edge of the stage, and return gratefully to the safety of the pole, which you cling to like a six-year-old to her mother on the first day of school."
