    Default Ghost Chilies

So i bought a case of ghost chilies last month and have been experimenting with them.

    I have made
    Chili-with 3 of them
BBQ Ribs with 6 in the sauce
Pork and Sausage jambalaya with 3
all of these i cut them up fine.

well tonight i decide i would make a burger and boy did i fuck myself.

I took black angus beef and seasoned it with garlic and onion powder, crushed black pepper, cayenne pepper, and tonys extra spicy seasoning.

I sauteed my mushrooms and 3 ghost chilis (cut in half) in butter and worchestershire sauce. I dumped it into my skillet when the burger was medium rare and stacked the shrooms and chilies on top and covered it with muenster and provolone cheese.

Dressed the burger with mustard, ketchup, tabasco, lettuce and tomato.

It gave me the hiccups almost immediately...
by the time i was done, my eyes were tearing, nose running, and lips burning. Omg it was so hot but so damn good.

Next is going to be a crawfish boil.

Anyone else ever eat these and do you have any other ideas of what i can do with them. Oh and for those of you that dont know what they are i am attaching the scoville link. You have to go to the bottom of the scale. It is right above pepper spray.

Those are hot as fuck. I have only used them once. I fire roasted them first, and then stuffed them with a mixture of ground pork, rice and white cheddar. It was outstanding.

I think they originate in either Turkey or Bulgaria. I'll look it up; I can't remember.

Lol, I'm wrong. They are from the assam region of India (northeastern).

I gave a bag of them to my favorite china man last week and told me to come in for lunch today and he would hook me up. He made my favorite dish and popped 3 of them in. I dont know what he did too them but they seemed hotter if that is possible.

Word is out about my crawfish boil....the boys are planning beer pong and Dj Wootay will be enertaining. Why do i think this is going to be trouble...

One thing that I have become all to familiar with since my move 'south of the border' is hot peppers. But Ghost Chili's are RIDICULOUSLY hot - like 10 times hotter than habanero's. In fact the only culinary role that Ghost Chili's have down here is as an ingredient in 'macho asshole' competitions at local bars !
