    Default starting a new chapter

Hello all. It's been a long time since my last post. As a matter of fact, I haven't logged in, in quite some time. I know I never spoke of my personal life on S. W. in great detail, or any detail for that matter, but I've finally done it! I finally pulled up stakes and left Las Vegas after 14 years. It was a great run but I ended up having problems in my personal life, and I just had to cut ties and go home back to Denver.

It really sucks when you hit hard times, and have to trust in someone who says "they will take care of things" and never do.I've always been the type of person who tries to do my best in taking care of myself and getting things done. I got to a point in my career where I was fired because it was felt "that I don't fit in the direction the club is going" (how politically correct is that?). Anyway, the person I was with, said that they would take care of things and that I wouldn't have to worry about having things taken care of. So against everything I was taught in life I put all my trust in this person, and I was let down. I was let down so much so, that we were evicted from our apartment. Ironically the day after this my unemployment came through. We moved into another place, and I told her I would take care of the rent (because my unemployment covered just the rent) and she took care of the food bill. She agreed, and I was let down again. So after being let down twice in four months, I decided to pull up stakes, sever all ties, and move to Denver.

So here I am in Denver, unemployed, and looking for work. So far, I've been out of work for approximately 6 months now. With the economy the way it is, it's really hard to get back into the workforce. In Las Vegas there is practically a strip club on every corner. So generally it's easy to find work as a DJ. However, in Denver I'm finding it rather difficult. Even with 14 years of Las Vegas experience. But the bright side is I'm getting things taken care of and have no one to have found myself and I know trust myself to get things done.

So if anyone in the Denver metro area knows of a strip club that's looking for a DJ, drop me a line and please let me know.

    Thank you.

I know I am not helping you as in the fact that I don't live in Denver, but I will be praying for you. It does suck trying to find a job in this economy. But I do believe in karma. So I am pretty sure that something good must happen to you soon. Sorry if these aren't the words you are looking for. I just try to look on the good side of things. That and I am tired as hell. Good luck to you!

This could actually be perfect timing for you! I don't know who is running the club but supposedly there is a new club opening in Denver. They had an ad on Craigslist, but it must have expired. I'll see if I can track down the info for you. I e-mailed them (out of curiousity) and never heard back.

I'd also suggest that you call the VCGH home office and see if any of their clubs are looking for anyone. They are getting ready to sell to Ricks, which may mean some changes in staffing.

Well, I found remnants of the ad, which has expired. It's the first link.

This could possibly be it, but I'm not sure.
