OMG... so I have been sick for about a week-cough, cold, fever, sore throat, runny nose.
Been eating nothing but Delmonte popsicles (the ones called "real fruit") which I find gross and overly sugary, and tea biscuits. Anything else I can't hold down- either throw it up or it works its way out of my behind (sorry for being gross).
Waited 2.5 hours in a clinic waiting to see a doctor. Finally got to see a doctor and he gave me a prescription. Went to pharmacy and was told my drug plan does not cover these meds and that it would cost me $50 out of pocket.
Today I was finally able to hold real food down, I had 2 hard boiled eggs and an apple. I stepped on the scale and am 10 pounds less! And trust me, I am not happy about this. I feel gross and rather frail. I am feeling better today overall (my cold seems to be going away) but am pissed about losing 10 pounds. I have been drinking lots of water and will put more food in me once I am hungry, I do not want to over eat and over do it.
I miss living in the city and being able to get decent fruit popsicles made at the local store, not this shit Delmonte factory crap we have out here in the burbs. My teeth feel gross. Too much sugar for me!
Have you ever felt gross like this after having a cold? 10 pounds lighter and feeling nasty.
Most people would think that losing weight is a good thing, but this was totally unexpected.
