Default Is it like a haircut?

Is it ok to call a place and ask if a particular girl is there or is that not acceptable or bad business?

For those of you that don't know, I'd like to make ammends for a misunderstang that happened during a previous trip. You can see my earlier thread for the details. Thanks for your help.

If you are going to spend money on this girl I would say absolutely call and see if she is working.
If you are causing trouble then no, don't call and stay away from the club.

I haven't read your previous post, I am only answering based on this post.

Yes, going to a stripclub is kind of like getting a haircut, except that it's your wallet that gets the haircut. If you call the club and ask if a certain stripper is working, they'll likely say she is, whether she is or isn't. They just want you to come in and spend. It's a little different if you know the person you talk to.

...unless there is more to your story, i doubt she see's it this way, remembers it or cares. Unless she brings it up, just enjoy her time and dances.

It's absolutely acceptable to call, especially if you're travelling any distance to visit. Be forewarned though, some clubs won't say and other will automatically say yes.

Totally acceptable, but as was mentioned above, many clubs will lie to you. I have an "understanding" with our front door girl/phone person so that this doesn't happen with my customers... but I've worked with those before who would always lie per request of the management. Meaning they told every customer "yes, she's working" when I (or whatever dance they called for) was clearly not there. If you plan on seeing this girl again I would just ask her if she thinks the typical phone operator at the club will be honest about it if you call. She will probably know.

It's certainly OK to call and ask but the chances of getting an accurate answer may be slim to none. Try to arrange to go on the same day, same shift that you saw her the last time and try calling about an hour after the shift would have started.

Just buy dances, don't walk in there thinking that you somehow screwed something up. No drama...

Of course you can. But just as an example of what you may run into, management at my club is under strict orders not to tell ANYONE when I am working. So sure, people can call and ask for me, but you'll never know when my shifts actually are.

Most clubs will always say she's working to get you back in the door. You can call and see if they are nice enough to tell you when she is and isn't... but you can't really expect an honest answer from many clubs with that question.

What you might want to do next time you see her is give her your email & phone number, and tell her to contact you when she plans to work so you can come see her. Just make a point of letting her know you plan to spend money on her inside the club.

Around here that happens all the time at least. I haven't even thought of it as acceptable or not, I'm so used to it. Even asking who's working tomorrow is somewhat okay but after that it's rude (I mean listing several days...).

A lot of dancers will keep a consistent schedule so you could ask your favorites next time you see them too. For instance, I tell people the two days I am always in the club and refer them to my website/twitter account which I update for unscheduled days I'm going in or if I'll be out of town on my normal days.

Don't call the club. Ask for the dancer's number. The majority of them have prepaid cell phones for custies.
