Default booty pops and other such body work

I simply cannot get my booty to pop ..when I lay down on a bed or floor surface, on my elbow and lift my butt up really high, I can contract my stomach muscles and push my butt out and make it pop a little bit but it ain't pretty. And won't this really screw up our spines or something over time?

Also I can't seem to get really deep undulations, maybe i'm trying to do it from the stomach too much instead of the pelvis? I'm sure this gets easier with time but my undulations are not very deep and look..strained..I do feel an increase in strength though

try instead of "popping", do more of a one cheek at a time thing? i do the exact position you're talking about, and squeeze one cheek, then the other, and after almost a year of practice i am able to do it very quickly, so it looks almost like it's vibrating.

    Using the wrong muscles!

Ignore your stomach, ignore rocking your pelvis - it's your butt. Literally. It's all in the glutes, and it's crazy hard to isolate those muscles, but once you get the hang of it it's like "Ohhh, duh!" *pop pop pop*

You'll get it eventually, it is really hard. Worth it though.

I always learned to do it from the pelvis, which creates a jiggle or clap. When you do it from the muscles of the butt itself any/all cellulite you have in that area becomes more obvious.

This move is not for everyone and not everyone should be doing it, and not everyone looks right doing it. Most of the girls that do it, just look silly. This move is soooooo over done at my club so you are most likely better off NOT doing it !

i do it from the pelvis if i want both but cheeks to jiggle. concentrate on moving your abs downwards instead of your booty upwards.

if i want to move one cheek at a time, then i use my glutes. i think what kylea says about cellulite is spot on... i barely have celulite but it looks like i do if i contract my muscles. but a lot of men love the moving one cheek at a time moves.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

doing the one cheek at a time thing is better than the shake. Guys will tip you more normally for the 1 cheek. Shaking your fat just isn't as attractive.

But if you want to, then it is from pelvis, almost your waist or lower back. arch up and then down to start-then you will eventually start shaking it.

is it the same when you are standing? I can do it pretty good if I am 'doggie style' but standing is a whole different feeling

Please dont be one of those girls arching their backs quickly in an attempt to pop ass. YOUR ASS is what pops. Dont be arching and then straightening your spine. also if you dont have an ass to pop, just focus on other moves.

To pop an ass squeese the ass cheek. It should pop.

If you insist on ass popping/shaking: get in the position you described , get into an arch with your back. do not straighten or move your spine. Arch and then spread the the knees apart and get your booty to jiggle in the most flattering way. By squeezing or pushing up and down on the knees lightly.

Haha yes. It took me ages to figure it out but once I learned it just got easier and easier. Now it's a piece of cake and I'm not even dancing anymore. I just enjoy making my butt cheeks dance
