Default Breaking In the Shoes. No idea how.

I already searched a few threads on breaking the shoes in, but blowdrying didnt work... I dont want to put them in the freezer either.

This is my first time wearing these type of shoes. Im a size 6.5. I went for 6, They seem to fit, not sure if 7 would fit good. I dont know where the pain is suppose to be - this is why Im not sure if size 6 was a good choice.
How tight are my straps suppose to be? I usually tighten them pretty tight, or else my shoes slips. I posted a pic of where it hurts. Any suggestions of how to prevent it?

Loosen the strap around the ankle and get a cushion from the local shoe store to put in the sole of the shoe. The cushion will take up some more room, which will prevent you from sliding forward.

Put a pair of thick-ish socks on and sit in front of the fire/heater with them on, tends to warm them up/melt them slightly, dont leave them in front of the direct heat too long tho. Wear them around the house with the socks on and they should loosen up.

This is a good suggestion, as is wearing them around the house with socks on.

The 'heating' or 'blowdrying' method only works with the clear PVC styles of mules and sandals - not PU Leather - which is what yours are made of judging by the photos.

Another alternative - if you're going to get more similar pairs - is to invest in a pair of high-heel shoe stretchers. They're not too expensive and they can save time - and sore feet!

I stuffed really really stiff newspaper into the toe part to stretch it out as hard as i could, and since my old club was a dive and had a kerosene heater in the DR(seriously) i set them in front of that to get them to stretch out. Worked like a charm. You have to stuff the shoes to the point to maintain the shape you want them to be at your comfort level, THEN blast them with the heat. And massage the material.
