Hello everyone,
I've been interested in doing some travel dancing, but was worried about the business licenses required in states. For example, I think Texas requires business license or maybe even a sherrif's license? If some states require a business license, I could put in the name of a restaurant or something...? But if some states require you to have a letter of being being hired at somewhere in that state (like a gaming or non-gaming sheriff's license), what's the likelihood of in a routine job background check that a business license and sheriff's license will show up? I mean for a routine background check for getting hired at a day care or health facility or such? Anyone heard of horror stories? I'm not going to travel dance in a state that would specifically require an "exotic dancer" or "adult" license, because that would be too obvious if it were on a background check. Any suggestions? I'm just trying to figure out how risky it'd be...if I should just stay put in my state where no license is required, or go take the risk? Thanks so much for your input, and sorry if my question is not so clear and a bit muddly.
