Default My New Shoes - Blisters

Ladies, I have been searching for an hour on the board of a situation like mine but I can't find anything...

I got my 6 inch stripper shoes from Playboy and they are a good fit, not to big or small, but my problem is that when my feet start to sweat my feet slide down to the toe of the shoe putting pressure on the toe hole and my footsies. The tops of my toes are getting some gnarly blisters especially on my big toes. What can I do?

*edit* I forgot to mention, the circulation in my toes get cut off (painful!), but once I take my shoes off dry them and my feet and put them back on Im good to go for a while until my feet start to sweat again.

My only solution to shoes I had likethat was to not wear them anymore or wear stockings to protect your feet. Sorry. But your fee are very important and need to be taken care of just like the rest of you. So maybe they would be great for small affairs or something private at home but not for dancing if they are hurting you that badly.

I dont know what you have there but I found the perfect pair at cirilla's here in Detroit. Break them in quick but they never ever hurt my feet.

They are the Sky 330-Black ones. I dont think you can shop on their site online but look out for those ones on other sites. They are incredible.

You haven't said but it sounds like you're wearing slides (sorry, no pun intended). Have you thought about a nice, strappy platform sandal with ankle straps that will help keep your feet more stable? Or a mule with 2 or 3 bands which will give your foot more support? Most of the Online and High Street stores will have them and some of the designs from Pleaser, Tony Shoes and Ellie are lovely.

Sorry, but no.... they are NOT a good fit. In fact, sliding down out of your shoes, pressure, blisters, and cut-off circulation are all symptoms of a bad fit. With all those things combined I would venture to say that they are a TERRIBLE!!! fit.

Since I have never worn Playboy shoes I don't exactly know what their shortfalls may be. But since I have NEVER heard of strippers wearing Playboy shoes I am guessing they aren't made for real stripping. I'm thinking they are more suited for girlfriends & wives who want to get all dolled up for their man and get to sexin' within a relatively short period of time. I have serious doubts that these shoes were ever intended for multi-hour shifts, day after day. They may use plastic that stretches out very easily in order to accommodate a greater range of customers. Again, I'm only guessing but it would account for what you have described.

After a quick google I found these playboy shoes:
http://www.endless.com/dp/B0028V7FUW...SIN=B0028V7FUW & http://idn.efashionsolutions.com/ass...10056_RED_zoom note the PVC inner sole near the toes. OMG are they retarded??? Sure it looks pretty but it provides ZERO traction so if your shoes are anything like these... toe slippage is GUARANTEED!

    Anyway.... you have some options.

    1. Try to fix the shoes you already own.

These pads are supposed to prevent slippage.

    2. Switch to a slimmer shoe brand.

If your feet can be considered "skinny" I would recommend trying a brands like TONY'S and Karo... both of which seem more snug than Pleasers and are a heck of a lot more snug than Ellies.

    3. Switch to a different shoe style.

I have no idea what the shoes in question look like... but maybe you'd be better off in a closed toe style, maybe in a style with more straps, maybe in a style that features an upper portion made of clear plastic (which I have always found to be the BEST option for keeping shoes snug and comfy.), maybe you want to go down a size, etc. etc. etc.

If you choose to go with options 2 or 3 please, please, pleeeeeease purchase a REAL stripper shoe.... Snaz75.com has tons of options, a kick-ass discount, and a decent return policy. Don't cheap out... spend a few extra bucks on a GOOD pair of shoes.... your feet will thank you. And when you stop worrying about your shoes and getting caught up dealing with ouchy feet you will notice your attitude & money will improve. SERIOUSLY!!!

You'd have to let me know what your shoes look like and the kind of shoes you want/need for me to give any focused advice. Otherwise I'm just grasping at straws. But I hope even that helped you a bit.

    Good Luck & Take Care.

^^ 'Playboy' shoes actually run big in size, especially some of their slides. You could try going down a size if you really want to wear that style, but they are not known for 'stripper' heels as 'Sophia_Starina' has said.

'Tony's' are good, so are 'Karo', and 'Reflections' are lovely. 'Pleaser' are nice as are 'Ellie' (I've never found them big) and 'Nite-Life' from London too. You can also try 'Varsavia Viamara' if you can find them, and 'The Highest Heel' do nice platforms as well.

For dancing you need platforms with 'suedette' inner socks which prevent your feet sliding, or as I suggested in my previous post, go for a platform sandal with straps, or a two or three band mule, to give the whole foot more support.

I use clear medical tape on areas of my feet where I know shoes give me blisters. You can find it in the pharmacy at wal-mart, rite aide, walgreens, etc.

I'd also recommend padding under the sole of your food to take up more room and keep you from slipping.

Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.
