Default Advice for a newbie (Sacramento/ SF)

I haven't danced in a club before and I am sort of nervous to start. I am looking for a club that isn't too intimidating. A place with a friendly feel, that's a little bit on the small to medium side. I was wondering if there was a good club for newbies in either San Francisco or Sacramento. I hope someone can help me out Thanks.

If you are under 21 try Little Darlings. It's small and not really intimidating. If you are over 21 you might still want to try Little Darlings, but I'd recommend checking out the Gold Club.

Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

I am 21 and I'm interested in Gold Club, but I think I'm going to check out Little Darlings. I want to feel as comfortable as possible when I start.

You'll probably like Little Darlings... it's a cute place. Just watch your stuff! I had some shoes stolen there once... which is really odd because they stole them out of my dance bag. If possible get a locker or a lock for your bag.
