    Default Less evasive tampon ads...

So i guess Kotex has decided to stop doing the traditional women doing yoga in white sweats ads for tampon and go with something that is a little more direct.

example: there is a magazine ad that says "i tied a tampon to my keyring so my brother wouldnt take my car. And it worked."

i got a kick out of this article and im sure you guys will too!

The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

    I hated the yoga ads.

Sorry tampon companies, but I would not dare do yoga in white sweats. The day you invent something that without a doubt does not leak, is the day I start trusting those ads.
Get the fuck off my harbl, yo'.

I think it is awesome that they are doing this. I always hated tampon ads.

Oh, and yeah, it would be nice if one of these days they did really come up with one that doesn;t leak.

I don;t usually use kotex (not my fav) but I might just start buying them more just because of this effort

Agreed, idreamofaislin. It's an anatomical part and for most women having our periods is a huge part of our lives... I don't get why tv networks think they can just censor that out!

I like Kotex because its cheaper and works better than Tampax/Playtex. I never got the hang of the Diva Cup either...blood all over my hands and toilet was a pretty big deterrant.

I newly discovered OB.. They work way better than any others I've used. I was a tampax die hard for most of my life, until last year when someone told me to try the OB. I still use the others b/c sometimes it's nice to have an applicator.

I saw this thing on Tyra.. I think it's great they are trying to take the shame out of periods.. People act like we are some crazy creatures for having a period. It's a normal thing and girls shouldn't have to feel bad or embarrassed because of it!

    Girl power

OB is old school... seriously, I don't know that they've ever changed. They are still exactly how they were when I was a little girl. However, they do the job. If I can't find an Instead I always go for OB.

Using a beaver is cheeky! I wonder if they'll do those in Canada? The beaver is our national animal.
