    Default bruises

    Hello Ladies and Gents,

I am a fair skinned lady ( very proud of it too) and find that my legs often get very bruised from work. I have tried to cover this with makeup and often wear stocking or fishnets at work. The thing is my legs are a huge asset to me ( I am naturally 6 feet tall!) so what do you girls use for bruising?

    Thanks in advance

    Kristine

Arnica works well, but I like pineapple enzyme (bromelain) better. Arnica will probably be easier for you to find; you can get both the tablets and/or cream or gel at whole foods, wild oats, natures, etc. Make sure you get plenty of vitamin d & potassium as well.

Rub it out with a cold spoon....Apparently it's an old hickey trick.

I remember there being an awesome thread about bruises a few months ago, try doing a search. Lots of good answers.

Lol, if that worked, I wouldn't have been grounded so much during my freshman year of highschool.

^^^ I used to so the spoon thing and it worked for me... but there's defiantly a technique to it! Lipstick tube tops also worked for that.

On the bruising. Use arnica pills and arnica gel. Arnica promotes white blood cell creation... which helps you heal faster.

For cover-up I use a Physician's Formula concealer in soft green and cover with regular shade of concealer.

Use a makeup sealer or hairspray over it to set it so that it doesn't rub off as easy. You'll still have to touch it up through the night, but it will look MUCH better.
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.
