    Default Tiger Effect?

With Tiger and his mistresses being back in the news via Vanity Fair, I was curious if the girls see any negative effect on the high roller crowd.

I am a VIP guy and actually left my favorite club in Mpls early last week without taking a girl to VIP. At the time, it seemed I just couldn't find the right girl. But as I have thought about it more, I think some of the fun has gone out of it. I am married, and I suspect that part of me is starting to realize with all of this news via Tiger, Jesse James, Repub Committee about infidelity, etc has caused me to think doing VIP or OTC is a silly waste of money.

I understand it is hard to probably separate the impact of the economy from this type of effect, but was wondering if VIP activity is down, even from the your regular guys that you know haven't been hit by the economy; but maybe they are also having second thoughts about their behavior?

eh. tiger didn't take those girls to VIP and buy dances from them.

he lied to them and pretended to be in love with them and dumped them the second any of them asked for any financial help for anything at all. they all still had to work and pay their own bills and buy their own shit. all he'd do was pay for plane tickets so they could come fuck him...apparently in pretty demeaning ways no less.

i don't see how being treated like shit for free, while having your feelings manipulated compares to being paid by someone who is probably going to treat you fairly respectfully (most guys who spend good money in SCs without expecting extras are pretty nice guys) and pay for it and isn't jerking you around as some sick fucking mind game.

though, apparently you consider VIP and OTC the same, so apparently you are expecting extras/sex, in which case, well at least you are/were willing to pay for it.

tiger got in trouble because he lied to the girls he was cheating with. the lapdances/sex aren't what you're paying for. you pay for the fact that you aren't gonna get any drama, because it's just another business transaction. strippers/prostitutes might like you (maybe), but they don't love you, and they aren't gonna cause shit in your life. drama happens when you get feelings involved.

tiger wasn't ever paying to get laid. he just wanted to be an asshole and treat people like shit and 'win' at something else besides golf. he's an asshole and deserves way worse for what he's done than he's gotten thusfar.

Yeah I think that Michelle Bombshell chick made a grave error.

One if a marriage is on the rocks and the hubby is in the strip club the wifey is probably unaware that her marriage on on the rocks!

Two if I had the hots for Jesse James (apparently she gave him a hand job in the club for $400 an hour in the VIP) I'd make him my lover, not my customer.

So dancers like Mich. Bombshell give other dancers a bad name in my opinion.

@She sells sanctuary - my thoughts on Tiger is that he never really was into his wife it's just that everyone else in his close proximity was.

He just had to be more alpha than the rest of the pack and snatch her up.

He's just a highly competitive person. Jesse James is the same way and they both expect others (especially women) to be competitive as well. Why do you think J. James picked Sandra Bullock? She has a very competitive edge aside from being attractive and nice - she is at the top of one of the most competitive businesses in the world.

It's sort of like the customers who know a wide range of girls. If the girls are friendly with each other it's a good sign.

If the girls are not on good terms with each other because they are competing or the customer is manipulating them to do so, that is bad.

If anything it's going to make more guys want to be just like them.

Perhaps I worded the question badly. I wasn't really talking about Tiger's (or any of my) actions per se, was mainly wondering if all of the media attention on infidelity/immorality from Spitzer, John Edwards, Tiger, etc had any impact on your wealthier customers. It seems to be in the "news" almost everyday. Although famous people are definitely more at risk in today's environment, I was curious if all the talk had any impact in the SC? Maybe not.

but what does their behavior have to do with stripclubs?

tiger...cheated on wife with women he manipulated, basically for free
john edwards...had an affair with a woman he apparently did/does love. i think a staff member leaked it.
spitzer...paid a prostitute for anal sex and did a shitty job covering his tracks

seriously, what does any of that have to do with stripclubs?

each of those men had a 'family values' platform, was liked by his fans/constituents for being a nice man, a family man. each one was a hypocrite.

in general, if a man is going to a stripclub to try to get sex, particularly if he's trying to get sex for free, we don't want him in the club, regardless of how wealthy he is. having money and spending money are not the same.

now, if we're talking about regular celebritites going to strip clubs...they don't do that much anywas, and according to most dancers who've danced for celebs, they've mostly been assholes and/or cheap (like tiger). so let them stay away.
