Ok, weird question, but I live near the beach, right? And I LOVE the beach but hardly ever go because of one single thing - my partner doesn't like it (which isn't a problem - we're not joined at the hip), so I go by myself, BUT unless my partner is home when I get back AND I walk the 30 minutes to get there and back, I am way too paranoid to bring anything with me, such as my keys to get back inside my house, my phone, my wallet, my bus pass, and so on and on...
So I don't go. Or I GO, but don't go in the water for a swim.
How does anyone else do it?? Do you risk leaving your valuables on the sand and constantly try and look at them to make sure they're still there? At our beaches, we have a lot of high rise apartment and hotel buildings everywhere and criminals rent out a room up high, scout out people who have left their stuff unattended and then tell their partner down below on the beach when to go and get the unguarded stuff. Freaky. lol
