Thanks!!! :-D

After a week! Wow! I'm getting them in July and assumed I'd need minimum 6 weeks off... may 8. But at my club it is not lap dancing. Tons of floor work.

I waited four weeks cause I am a complete wuss. A different girl at my club came in before they had dropped-she couldn't even lift her arms over her head yet. I thought she was crazy...but guys ate it up

I wasnt in any pain on the second day but took about a month for my boobs to "drop" and 2 months for them to look completely normal
I went back after 1 month. The doc told me NOT to exercise and lift anything heavy for 1 month. Made sense to wait a month to work because just bracing myself on a custy's shoulder w/ my hands and moving back and forth is kinda like doing mini pushups and I could see straining myself ... not good.
If you go back to work in 2 weeks just be very careful because your body is still healing.
I highly recommend waiting at least 3 weeks. The greatest chance of displacement is in the first few weeks before your body has even healed. I know lots of dancers who have gone back early and even started doing pole-work. These are usually the dancers who mess up their implants. If you couldn't afford to take at least a few weeks off you should have waited to get implants.
So many girls think because they feel fine its ok to work. Its not. You use your arms a lot when you're dancing and you have to be very careful not to lean on them if you're going back early. Its best to give the pocket time to heal.
8 weeks. They hurt that bad.

BTW the consult I went on today said 3-4 weeks. He plans on doing sub-fascial if I choose him.
I'm due to have my second op in a few months so I'll post on here if it takes less time to recover from.
I waited 4 weeks and even then I couldn't do anything too strenuous at work. You definetely need to wait A MINIMUM OF 4 WEEKS before you try to go back to work. Work your ass off before you get the implants so you can afford the minimum time off. Why would you want to risk your investment by jumping back in??? This is surgery. Your body needs time to heal. I would reccomend having enough money for 8 weeks off, everyone heals differently and you'll want to be able to rest and have peace of mind if you have a complication or your body needs more time. Even "fast" healers need at least 4 weeks after surgery, especially your first boob job. Going back any faster than that is just stupid, and why pay all that money and then NOT take care of your body??
I had saline implants, under the muscle with a lift procedure as well. I went back after 2 weeks but VERY limitedly. I did no floor work. Pretty much stuck to shaking my booty and dancing around. I did NO pole work for a year. I also only worked 1, 2 days max until 6 weeks post-op when I went back to 3-4 nights /week.
I'm not who I say I am.
I actualy went back a little under 3 weeks. sounds soon but honestly I felt fine and my PS gave me the ok to resume normal activities. I of course asked him if it was ok to have my top off in such a place(kind of an embarrassing q) and he assured me I'd be fine.. just to protect my incisions..
I took it very light tho... I didn't dance too hard and told every customer that I'd just got em done so hands off(still made money despite this).
Listen to your body, everyone has a different recovery process. I had a very easy recovery process(didnt even need the pain meds) so I felt ok to go back. I listened to my body and did not over due it. But if you are still super sore, then don't go back to work. This is your body, nothing to mess around with.
***side note, my implants are under the muscle

Thanks Veronica, seems like I will have to do this too, telling custies to keep hands off. I'm schedules to work 4 nights in a row starting this Friday.... I needed the money that badly! I'll just be standing, hoping my new tatas will do the hustling for me...![]()

I went back 3 weeks and two days after, but that was working at a peepshow(no stage, you're sitting/laying down all day). If I was at a strip club I would have waited longer.

I waited a month before going back. I am having a second op in June (can't wait!) and I'll repost. I hope it hurts less second time around and less down time.

I went back after 2 1/2 weeks. I was a stage only dancer(not featuring, everyone was given set show times and paid per show) and did some pretty intense shows. I just stayed off the pole. I was back on the pole after about 6 weeks or so. My surgeon just said "if it hurts don't do it" and I had no problems. A year later I had a small issue with an implant but it wasn't my fault or my surgeons fault and he redid them for free and I went back to work after 2 weeks. Again my implants are fine no problems.
Im half under the muscle, cogels went from a C to and F
