Default Where can I buy a custom pole?

I'm looking for a pole to put in my living room! The only issue is finding a pole that will fit with my vaulted ceilings. They're around 23 ft. tall... which is exactly why I HAVE to have a pole! I found one site (lasvegasstripperpoles.com) that offers a permanent stationary pole that is custom up to 24ft. Are there any other companies that offer that kind of height? Has anyone ordered from lasvegasstripperpoles.com? My worry is buying a $250 pole from a company that I'm not familiar with. Also, I've read that changing a pole from stationary to spinning is really easy and I just need to get a "special part" from the hardware store or loosen some screws? (loosening screws sounds a little scary) Is that true with all poles or does it vary by brand?

Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

I have a platinum stages stationary custom. Great company and quality. I believe they customize up to 30ft and come with vault mounting brackets.

I'd suggest to get extra bolts as one of mine stripped when I left my old apt and took it down, easy fix, head to home depot and flirt up a sales guy. You can also buy the brackets and vaulted mounting from them too, the ones that make the pole spin is a special one so get an experienced associate. If you should move they will also cut it for you.

When measuring do it from the EXACT spot you plan to put the pole in. PS cuts the pole to fit very snug, you'll need a rubber mallet to nudge it completely 90 degrees. I made the mistake of assuming my apt, older 1935-40's brownstone was completely level, not so. Even half an inch will make your afternoon shitty after getting excited about it going up. Make sure your drill is high voltage.

And lastly make sure a dude puts it up and weighs at least 240. A promise of a show after should get his ass on there to make sure it is secure.

    Voila! Work it girl.

I know!! I walked into my apartment on our move in day and saw the ceiling and couldn't help but think "my god it would be a shame to not have a pole in here". Haha I think that comment belongs in the "You know you're a stripper when..." thread.

Thank you setian! That helps a lot! I didn't just want to blindly buy a pole... Especially one with that kind of height and have a bunch of issues with it. I really can't afford the medical bills from a company's cheap mounts or anything... and certainly wouldn't feel safe with a DIY pole made by a friend's boyfriend. (I've had offers because I've been in the market for one...) Maybe if it was 12 ft... crap... maybe even no then too. 24 ft is quite a long fall.

Why not get a stand-alone or stage/podium pole?

I like the thought of having a super tall pole. I'm not going to try to do a sequence of tricks when I first get it but when I get better I want to be able to. Also one of my friends from work is our local pole champion who can teach me. I will definitely be getting some serious floor padding. Like I said, I think it would be a shame to have 23 ft. tall vaulted ceilings and not put them to good use.
