    Default OneModelPlace.com Tips

I read the form on stripperweb on a guide to modeling and I decided to post a portfolio for the hell of it to see if I would get any response. I was wondering if anybody is on this site or has done any modeling and can give me any more tips and advice on who to work with, what to bring to a shoot, questions to ask before the shoot, or any photographer recommendations.

    Here is the thread- http://forum.stripperweb.com/showthr...guide+modeling

Here is my personal page on the site- http://member.onemodelplace.com/member.cfm?ID=435707

I was planning on doing some "time for CD" or "time for prints" to build a portfolio. Some of the photographers that have contacted me seem to have a good repertoire of photos that appear professional and some don't. I want to respond to a few that have similar taste as mine and who's photos seem more professional. I know I need to lose about 10 pounds to fit the model type or at least tone up a bit. Any advice or critiques on my photos would be appreciated. Any sites that show modeling poses? Also, any advice on "modeling up" my look?

Anyway, if all this doesnt work the way I hope-I know I will probably never have a chance of making a career out of it, but I hope to get a little extra money in the future and some cool pictures out of it. One day I would like to be a photographer and do some digital imaging for marketing capaigns, so hopefully I could get some good contacts out of this for the future!

    Sorry this is long

I've done modelling and here's some advice. I started pre-internet so some is outdated but pretty close to now too.

    1) Always ask to see samples. Anyone can be a 'guy with a camera" versus photographers.

    2) If are doing nude tfp, I'd be very careful. There are many perverts out there and you never know where the photos will go. Personally, I'd never do any nude photoshoots without getting paid. I fell for this once and learned my lesson.

    3) Try to bring someone, or at least tell the guy that. A legit photographer won't care if you bring someone (though they may not want them in the room while working). A scam will not like this.

    4) I always ask where the photos are going because you don't want some nasty surpises. I've done some stock footage photography in my career (these are random photos used for various thing) and I was surprised where some ended up. One photo ended up on a erotica book, another ended up on a casino billboard. I wasn't bothered by either. Also, I've done modelling jobs that weren't glamourous at all. I once modeled for a demonstration on how breast cancer patients can build up their arms (I am very muscular). Notice non are nude photos? I'd never do nudes unless I know where they'll end up. Too many girls make this mistake and regret it.

    5) Read the contracts very carefully.

If I can think of more tips, I'll post them. Basically my motto is don't pose for something you wouldn't want someone to see. Most of the nudes I've done have been very tasteful.
