LOL. Maybe for this board, I should have written my "niece".
Except she really is my niece. My sister is driving down Thur. for a convention and I'm flying my niece down Fri after school. My mom and other sister are flying in Sat. We all live within 5 miles of each other but have to meet in Vegas to spend time together.![]()

Wynn is very pretty as far as the main casino area and the clubs/bars inside. For the absolute classiest place, in my opinion, I absolutely LOVE ThEHotel, affiliated and nearly connected to Mandalay Bay. It's interior and lighting is very swank, dimly-lit and subdued and their spa is uber-opulent. They are an all-suites hotel and their rooms are my absolute favorite.
Green Valley Resort, which is a bit out of the way and completely off the strip, is very upscale but relaxed and laid-back at the same time. It is also pretty all-inclusive as not much else is around it. Plenty of shopping, a HUGE spa, lavish pools with fancy cabanas, etc...If you want to avoid the strip in the future altogether, Green Valley would be my top recommendation.
The benefit to THE Hotel is that you can forget you're in Vegas the whole time you're there if you wish because there are is no casino there at all. However, if and when you have the urge to get back to the wildlife, well, you can walk right out and over to Mandalay or just walk the other way and saunter on down the strip.
