Default how to try to keep the sale when they have to wait

Last night I must have been in the magic zone, I didn't ask anyone if they wanted a private show (I was going to but the minute I walked upstairs I was approached and asked). The whole night was like that, I wasn't having to hustle at all ...but a few times two or three guys would ask for a show and I had to ask them to wait in line ..by the time I was finished dancing for one, the others had left the club.

Our club is challenging for private shows, because we only have a few rooms available and they fill quick. I'm often standing there wasting time waiting for a room to open. It would be easy to rake in 900 or more on fridays but with 20 girls on the floor and five rooms it's logistically impossible.

Ok back to subject..what can I do to 'give these guys a number' and try to keep the sale and have them wait? It's hard to tell them how long I will be with one customer because often times it will run over what he originally asked for. I hate to keep guys waiting but how do I snag the sale and keep them waiting a bit longer? Any tried and true?

    thanks..

I usually tell them how many people are in front of them and give them an estimated time. With the average joe type I estimate selling 3 - 5 dances (average 4) at 3 minutes per dance. There's a bit of math here but:

    C(DxT)

Where "C" is your current number of customers, "D" is averages dances, "T" is time per dance. So if you have 4 customers in line it would be 4(4x3)=48mins.

So you say "I'd love to dance for you! I have 4 customers ahead of you right now and I'm estimating it will take about 48 minutes. However, it could be less than that or a bit more."

The idea is to give them SOMETHING to keep track of, otherwise they'll just get impatient.

get the money upfront, and THEN tell them about the wait. In a nice way of course-"it looks like there's about a half hour wait for this room, i'm glad we now have it reserved, are you going to be sitting right here?" then go hustle
These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?

^^^ If that works, go for it. Don't be surprised though if guys are hesitant to hand over the money until they are actually in the lapdance area.

    I do this, too.
I take it, then tell them I'll just go reserve a room now, then let them know as soon as one clears up, since there's a little bit of a wait.

Guys at my club don't like to be treated like a walking ATM machine so I don't think the above method would work for me and my club but it's a great idea !

This is a good question. I'm not really aggressive when it comes to keeping customers to wait around for me when I'm busy, bc I understand if they are on a schedule, but I guess that I should better about this. Then again, since I don't do many rooms (I mainly do LDs), I'm not usually tied up for toooo long periods at one time.

The "getting money upfront" is a good idea for some, but I don't think I'd feel comfortable doing it. I think that I would turn off some people, but if you're one to have the "personality" to pull it off without seeming rude, go for it!

There's really nothing you can do if the person has a meeting or has to pick up a kid, etc. If anything, it looks good that you're so busy and makes it more likely that the customer will pick you the next time he comes back. Maybe you could leave a business card with your stage name and schedule w the customer for next time. If you really wanted, you could have your work email on there to schedule a next time since now the customer knows that it's better to make an appt with you than to show up randomly. This automatically makes you look more desirable.
