Default Sub-fascial implants... anyone have them?

Hi all.. Im getting me some boobies! yipee! Anyway I always assumed I would get below the muscle. I don't know why. I guess I thought they would feel more natural.

Anyway because I am a bit of a fitness freak my first surgeon suggested that below the muscle is not a good choice for me. He said over time the implant could be distorted and pushed out of it's position from my pec movements.

He suggested a sub-fascial placement which is supposed to be a compromise between infront and behind. It is below the connective tissue that covers the muscle for those that don't know.

I was just wondering if anyone has these or for those with overs what do you like about your overs? Are you happy you went over instead of under?

    Congrats!

Eeekk - they all scare me so I have no clue. I have heard though that under the muscle isn't good if you are really into exercise. I had a friend who got her's done under the muscle, and she's really in shape. In my opinion they look like they never lowered into position... they look too high.

I've heard this too... you should go with overs if you are big on working out.
    I'm under the muscle, but I'm a huge lazy.lol.

I have felt a variety of boob jobs(when I decided to get mine done, I'd ask to feel everyones lol).. I did feel some overs(all of them were saline tho) and they did feel/look a bit more fake to me. I'm not sure what look you are going for so you should discuss this with your PS.
I've also heard that when you get Overs, your recovery process is easier but this prob varies greatly from person to person because my recovery process didnt even require me to take my pain pills.

Great.... 2nd doc said absolutely full unders. That he does it 95% of the time because it is a way better long term result. He said he does it to body builders and personal trainers and I have nothing to worry about. Said you can see my ribs way to much to do over. He also suggested 370cc (the other said (295/330). He said don't even bother coming back to re-size unless I want bigger! LOL. Ahhhhhh conflicting information!

Well you certainly don't need them one bit, I love your boobies, BUT I completely understand and am sure you will be happy with them. I am constantly so tempted to get the world's smallest implants, I'd honestly want to be a large B/small C, but it just doesn't fit in with my spirituality at the moment. So I really don't have any advice on which kind to get, except that I would maybe try a bodybuilding/fitness forum and asking the women there? I definitely wish you the best of luck and want to see many many pics of course. And god dammit, I know they're going to turn out awesome and I'm going to be even more tempted!

I just feel so many conflicting feelings about "natural beauty" and what that means, and if it even means shit :-/

^Awww thanks LOL I know what you mean about natural beauty... I just like all beauty real and fake. But I think I like fake so much because where I grew up everyone was natural. Chicks hardly ever even wear makeup! My mom calls me "Hollywood J" now because compared to anyone I grew up with Im as fake looking as they come. No where near plastic fantastic though...

The 2nd doc probably feels that, because your ribs are visible, it means that you have thinner skin and thus implants which are overs will over time pull your skin downwards more ( especially if you go large for your frame). I have never heard of doing implants sub-fascia, but I know that unders seem to be better in the long run because the muscle act like an internal bra to hold the implants in place. They can tend to sit up higher so make sure your doc knows where you want them to settle. Also, unders take up to a year to "drop and fluff" into place fully, whereas with overs you see the final settlement as soon as your swelling goes down. I have had overs and had to redo them and go under because they started dropping too much after a couple years. The "under" sensation is weird at first when you flex your pec muscle and the boobs move, so if you do a ton of pec related exercises you may not like it. You could check out www.makemeheal.com to find additional info on everything.
    Cheers! LT

I have half under half over. Under on the top, over on the bottom. I have textured cogels. I am a hard core pole addict so my chest muscles get a serious work out. I've never had a problem. They look super natural and feel very natural... well as natural as an F cup can look on someone with a 32inch rib cage and 26inch waist at 5'2 lol.

I know a girl who is a fitness model and has overs and they ended up looking really weird and deformed after awhile. So I would really avoid overs if you do fitness. I've also seen overs on a few hard core pole girls and their implants ended up looking really messed up. Under or half/half seems to be the way to go for working out. Its a longer recovery time but worth it in the end. Though my half/half ended up being about a 6 week recovery before I went back to working out. I was jogging after about 3 weeks.

I was doing research on it, and I think someone mentioned that unders look like they never dropped and I think it's true. Or maybe it takes them longer? But MissShyGirl might be onto something with the half over- half under.

I've seen lots of unders that dropped! Some of the nicest boob jobs i've seen were either under or half/half. The problem with overs is they eventually look like they're hanging off the breast. They end up bottoming out a lot quicker then unders or half/half.
